Billing is the issue. I am being charged the price of a specialist for a primary care visit. Additionally, Optum Monument is charging for all the standard tests for the annual wellness visit, which by law is covered by all ACA-compliant insurance. Repeated calls and appeals have been turned down. While the employees at the front desk agree that I am being billed incorrectly, Optum internal billing denies appeals, provides no reason, and is now threatening collections. This is arbitrary and extremely unethical (illegal?). read more

This is for Optum Urgent Care Monument. I was treated for bronchitis and given an antibiotic. I cautioned the PA that I did not tolerate antibiotics well and was very clear as to why. Out of 3 options I am prescribed the one that is the most corrosive to the digestive track. Not to mention I was over prescribed! Does any medical practitioner ever bother anymore to listen to what the patient is telling them? I am devastated, it has taken me over a year to get here digestively just to have it tossed away. I received an email advising that if I went to the doctor before the end of the year I would receive a $25 gift card. I did go in on 11/30/22 and saw the doctor and asked about the gift card. Front desk said she would call me back after checking. I called the next day and was told the same thing. Never got the call. read more

If I could give them less stars I would. Optum you are HORRIBLE from your billing to your customer service and even your doctors. For your billing department trying to tell me what was done in MY appointment - were you there...NO you were not. My physicals are covered 100% but because YOUR billing person reviewed it and said there was other things discussed you billed me differently. WHAT! Again were do you get off telling me what was discussed in MY APPOINTMENT. Instead they sent me to collections. This is how screwed up billing is. I paid my bill in full on 5/8 but just got a bill saying I still owed this last weekend. Your doctor didn't even want to complete my physical and referred me to a women doctor. That was a first for me. Stay clear of this place...this place sucks! Wait one more thing... to speak with anyone..have lots of time to sit on hold and by the way once they answer the phone just magically hangs up...twice! I was seen yesterday at the urgent care clinic. I left work early and went straight here with a terrible cough and feeling very short of breath. Was checked in by the medical assistant (can't remember his name but he was very nice) and seen quickly by Dr. Baptist. She started listening to my chest and stopped because I was wheezing like crazy. She had them bring in a nebulizer treatment that helped me tremendously! After a chest X-ray she finished my exam and prescribed antibiotics, an inhaler and steroids. I rarely ever get sick like this and felt like absolute crud yesterday but today I'm feeling much better. Very thankful for their fast and thorough treatment! The doctor really listened to me and even encouraged me to come back if I wasn't feeling better. Not sure why they've gotten such poor reviews, this is the third time I've gone to this clinic over the years (they used to be CSHP)and every visit has been great. read more

Optum in Monument, is a very chaotic place! I have nothing against the new staff (doctor's etc) it's just not as reassuring (as it was when it was Davita) that anyone knows what their doing. Interesting that this negative atmosphere began to appear, not long before Optum took over, however at the time I did not know of the major changes in ownership that was occuring. read more

I have been a patient of Mountain View Medical since we moved here in 2001. I was very satisfied with my doctor, Warren Jaeger. The office staff was always courteous and helpful. Therefore I was surprised when I called about getting the covid vaccine. You said you would not be getting it so I had to call hospitals and pharmacies on my own to find out where I could get it. I felt you just left me hanging. You should have been helpful, for example hooking up with a hospital or pharmacy and giving them the names and ages,etc... of their patients so we would have a way tobe on a list to get the vaccine. I am not only 83, but I have sarcoidosis, am on oxygen and have MDS, so I am anxious to get the vaccine. I am also taking care of my husband who recently became a quadriplegic, so I want to protect him. We have care givers coming in and medical people for his after care, so we are nervous about getting it even though we are shuttered in. I feel I am a prime candidate to get the covid vaccine NOW, but you have not helped me. I am disappointed in you. read more

I wouldn't even give it one star. I saw the new doctor from Parker 7/15. I went to get an acid reflux prescription. Not only did she not call in my prescription to USAFA, but she put me in for a colonoscopy that I did not mention (I had just had one). Now I got a bill foe $78.00 FOR NOTHING!!! read more

These folks are really clowns. I just moved to CO and needed a new health care provider. I called to see a new doctor and they said it would take a month. I mentioned that I was low on my meds and the phone person said there was a cancelation at the end of the week at 10:30 AM. I got there a half hour early as requested and the desk person said my appointment was a week later at 1:30 PM. I told them that if I did not get my meds I was at risk of having a seizure. She was kind enough to ask if the doctor could see me, but he said no. I said I would sue Optum if I had a seizure.... today the office mgr called me and said they would not see me ever because I threatened them- she said the Dr did not feel comfortable because I threatened him... I guess his last name is Optum? Anyway, if you are looking for a doctor that is a snowflake and thinks everything they do is OK with everyone & the feelings of the doctors are more important than your health , stop in and get an appointment. read more

I went here I first got here because I needed quick care. I have had to switch because of my insurance. But it seems every time I need a last minute appointment DaVita always gets me in. Dr. Solano has been a pleasure as well as all of the staff. Absolutely still go back even though they're out of network. read more

Office is something like on time. Always interesting to find them 30 mins late even if you schedule for the first appointment of the day. Staff is not all that invested in individual patients. Tend to forget what is wrong with you even if it's an ongoing problem. In, out, copay please. Adequate health care but nothing to be excited about. read more

No other patients there, empty waiting room and fully staffed (according to them) and waited 2 hours without being seen by a doctor. Arrived and had to get the attention of staff who dismissed our presence. Listened to staff talk about their nail polish details while little girl sat there crying in pain.. I went in for a physical where the doctor asked if I had any concerns about my health. I mentioned a few thing and we spent a few minutes talking about them. They charged me an extra office visit becuase these issues "were not part of the physical." I expect this from lawyers, not doctors. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor with a little more moral fiber. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!! The doctors only care about getting you in (late as always) and getting you out! They DO NOT address your issues but they do want to put you on meds you may or may not need. The first visit the doctor asked me if I needed any anti depressants, allergy meds, pain pills. All I wanted from them was to treat my thyroid and general health. She also told me to go off all of my vitamins and supplements stating they were not good for me. When I asked her to test me deeper for my thyroid she flat out refused saying I didn't need it but she would go ahead and order tests for diabetes etc even though I have no history of such. then after they took my insurance card, collected my co pay, they then a month later continued billing me!! This is the first "professional medical business" I have been to that when I have asked them if my bill is paid in full..they said yes...then they continue to charge. I had to finally go to a specialist because the doctor at this place refused to treat my actual disorder! If I could have rated them less than 1 it would be 0! Heed this warning!!! read more

Went to urgent care on Sunday due to worsening symptoms of cough, sore throat, etc. Had been sick for 4 weeks and knew it was time for antibiotics. The PA was short with me and did not seem knowledgeable. She barely did an exam and said it was viral and to expect to be sick an additional 4 weeks!!! She told me my lungs sounded "distant" (although I had no difficulty breathing and my O2 sats were at 97%!). She gave me a nebulizer treatment. She came back into the room after that and again told me to expect to be sick about another 4 weeks and that she sent an inhaler and a cough suppressant rx to the pharmacy. I asked what the rx was and she said "cough suppressant", but wouldn't give me additional info. Horrible care, horrible bedside manor. I went to another dr today and was told my sinuses were filled with pus and blood and my ears were full. Was also told my lungs sounded great (which I knew). Was given an antibiotic and after 2 doses am already feeling better!!! Listen to your patients, they know their bodies!!! Will never go back to this place again. read more

I had an injury that needed an x-ray and treatment immediately so I called Davita urgent care. Their x-ray equipment was not working because of an electrical outage earlier in the week. Seriously? I called Centura urgent care, less than a mile away and victims of the same outage, and was seen, x-rayed, and treated immediately. Please feel free to draw your own conclusions. read more

It takes a lot for me to go to the Dr. I am suffering from incredible ear pain. I was seen by the PA, I believe her name was Erin. She was very sweet and politely checked my ears. Because she didn't visually see anything ( except some fluid). I feel she discounted the fact that I was and am in terrible pain. As a professional, I think she should have listened to me, a 59 yo educated person, and maybe prescribed some relief. I have an appointment with an ENT on Monday and meanwhile trying to get through the weekend. I write this review in hopes that she will learn to listen to her patients and to prevent anyone else from having to experience what I am presently going through. read more

I am writing this review because I feel that everyone should know about the practices of the south west office of Davita Medical group. I have had the same doctor for over 10 years and I was informed that he would be retiring due to the guidelines placed on him by this office. I am beside myself with anger after finding out he was scolded by management for not processing patients quickly enough and even downgraded on his pay because he was not performing to their specific instructions. Dr Mack does not practice that way, he has many degrees and has practiced medicine for many years with some of the most prestigious institutions, and high ranking military background. when he sees a patient he takes whatever time he needs to address their specific needs.. How dare they tell a Dr. how to provide good medical care? And treat him like a child by punishing him for not meeting their demands. I will be looking for a new doctor that has nothing to do with Davita Medical Group. If I could give them a -5 star rating I would. read more

I did have a decent pcp whom then received my retaliated history I came from, I was then sent to a very strange surgeon who looked nothing like the bio and didnt seem like a surgeon so took things into my own hands. So now healing from a different surgeon (a REAL one) and still have a few issues I still need to address, cant get a test result at all, then was told I could get imaging disk, still not available and was hung up on upon asking why no one has gotten back, then tried to set up appt to go over all these weird events to be told they needed permission to schedule, but after a week again I have to call and told to go 54 minutes out of town to see a new pcp, referred to Optum in Monument. So as driving there I was told dr scheduled has told them I have to be seen at walkin ER ($$$$$$). Get there and woman with same name gets up to takes my appt. (who actually is there to see the dr I was scheduled for, but was deferred from seeing)...as I learn after they mistaken me for her so Im then escorted to ER as they mixed us both up and she is led back to this dr. I then start to explain my issues and she tells me I have to see another pcp because she is just urgent care, I could not take antibiotic she was going to prescribe but she was to contact my other dr to get one I could take (never bothered to do it) and then I see my medical notes for that day and someone placed I had "chronic ficticious disease". I have a rare genetic issues with other problems well documented and with imaging to boot. I was outraged with the negligence of this place. Very damaging and very disingenuous so if you are seriously ill you need to find a place that cares and this is definitely not it. read more

I have been to this location for urgent care on three separate occasions. They have served me quickly and thoroughly. I've been impressed with the doctors as well as the nursing and administrative staff. They even went way above and beyond the call of duty to assist my wife when she had an issue. This past Saturday afternoon I took my wife down to CSHP Urgent Care in Monument with severe pain in her shoulder. Her pain was so severe we had trouble getting her up and dressed because any movement was unbearable. I have been to this urgent care a couple of times for myself with good results, but this visit was a disaster. After getting my wife out of the car and into the clinic, I handed the receptionists our insurance cards and after looking on the computer the receptionist told us that my wife was not in their system so they couldn't treat her (we moved here one year ago and she hasn't gotten established with a new PCP yet). I told her my wife was in a lot of pain and if they had a problem with my insurance (Medicare and a supplemental plan) that I would pay them in cash to get her looked at. She said she couldn't accept cash since we already had insurance and that would be insurance fraud. ????????? That logic totally escapes me. I asked her if there was another urgent care in the area or where the closest ER was. She said that she didn't know because she wasn't from around here. No one seemed to be concerned with my wife's condition, especially the receptionist. I took my wife down to the Memorial North ER where they took her right in and took excellent care of her. If CSHP Urgent Car in Monument is only an urgent care for people who are already a patient with one of their doctors, then they shouldn't call themselves an urgent care clinic. If you have a serious problem, don't waste your precious time going to this facility. read more
