However I decided to go here since it's on the way to the Resort and open late. I ordered their tripas, goat birria and lengua tacos, carne asada fries and chicken quesadilla... they were all fantastic. My kids LOVED the quesadilla and fries. The tacos were so good! Flavorful and affordable. They had tripas, my favorite! Even though California Burritos shows they have tripas on the menu they never do. Tacos El Rey taste better in my opinion and the price is affordable. I will be coming here from now on whenever I'm nearby, plus they're open late and have a drive thru.

The dude ordered some chicken taquitos and I enjoyed a chicken quesadilla. This was not your usual taco truck food! It was elevated and absolutely delicious. I don't know how they cooked that chicken but the flavor was off the charts - not to mention the massive portion. I would also bathe in their house green sauce if you let me. Okay not really, but it was so good! I thought their prices were pretty fair, too, especially considering the large portions. And the food came out fast and hot, not to mention the friendly dude running the place was really sweet and patient as we decided what to order. He also gave us a beeper so we just enjoyed our beers inside and didn't have to stand outside in the rain waiting for our food. Can't wait to check them out again because I'm dying to try some of their other delish-looking menu items (hello chillaquiles)!
