They take the time to explain everything to you if anything is new to you OR if you just have any questions. They make you feel very welcome. Food 9/10 Everything is made fresh when you order it so there will be about a 10 minute wait time. They use quality meats and season them just right. The MOAB burrito isn't for the light hearted. Come with a empty stomach for that one. The tacos are delicious. I tried one of each! Variety: 8.5 out of 10 For a food truck you can't really expect alot of different foods, but they do give you choices and on Saturday's they have barbacoa with home made corn tortillas.

I ordered a total of 4 tacos, 2 de trompo and 2 de pollo…read more The trompo tacos were good on flavor and also since they weren't super greasy compared to other places and the tortilla even had a nice crunch to it. The chicken tacos were decent as it seems they were seasoned with only salt and pepper. They lacked cilantro and onion on them as seen in the pictures, the woman also at the window said they would come with lime ‍ but that was missing as well The food did come out at a timely manner about 10-15min wait time and there was no one in front of me but only one person in that truck as well. The area is directly under sunlight beaning on you and at the time the lady said the umbrella broke for only one table that had one, the area should be more shaded so people can actually enjoy their food while they are there.

Have been over there 3 times since early June and they are closed, even though the big sign on top is flashing OPEN. Why 5 stars? Because I really enjoyed these tacos despite extenuating circumstances…read more --- --- --- Months ago, I heard the owner of Bar-A-BBQ mention Solo Tacos on some YouTube video, when he was asked about his favorite restaurants in Montgomery, other than his own shop. They did not even have a Yelp page, but Bar A is great, so I knew Solo must be pretty good for him for mention it. I followed them on Instagram and gave them at least a half hearted consideration to visit nearly every weekend since then. Finally, on this day, I decided to do a little taco truck food crawl and try three different places. I hit up the other two at lunch, and really didn't feel like getting back in the car to drive there, so when I saw they were on Uber Eats, I was never so happy to pay the delivery fee in my life. See, the weekend prior, I drove all the way there, only to learn that they had to close early that day. There was no phone number to call to confirm that history would not be repeating itself, so Uber Eats seemed like such an easy choice. Anyway, despite that early closure annoyance from the week earlier, and despite the fact that I did not get these tacos fresh off the grill, they were awesome. Of the three taco trucks I patronized on this day, they were the best. I went with Beef, Carnitas and Al Pastor. The Al Pastor were fine, but the other two were excellent. I even added an avocado and cheese to the beef and that was an excellent decision. I also added grilled onions to all of them, which was another big win. The beef ended up being my favorite. I'd love to come back again and eat it on site. I'd also love to try a burrito. But today was taco crawl day. For research. And my findings were that Solo Tacos wins the gold medal.
