I asked for corn tortillas and charro beans which came with the meal. First to arrive was the complimentary chips and salsa. I enjoyed their taste (4). The sizzling platter arrived a few minutes later with grilled onions and chicken on it. Included were some delicious charro beans, guac, pico de gallo and rice. I enjoyed this meal (4). At $13 it was a real deal but the meat portion was smaller than the more expensive dinner option along with only getting 2 tortillas. Finally the table service was very good too. I liked my visit to Don Pepe's and would be happy to return.

We ordered the chicken fajitas and 2 al pastor tacos. The fajitas do not come out on a skillet, the chicken is just chopped up with some onions, it was hot, it was ok. The Al pastor tacos were not great. The meat was kinda soggy and almost ground up. The rice was a wet rice with a different flavor than most I have ever had. Didn't care for it at all and I generally love Mexican rice. An acquaintance recommended this place and they love it, especially the breakfast. So I would say maybe try their breakfast or perhaps having previously lived on the Mexican border and eating there often I'm too picky. Overall I wouldn't rate it terrible but definitely not the best I've ever had.

El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
