Food was amazing! Loved the shrimp taco and homemade corn tortillas. Loved the aqua frescos as well. They were very helpful making recommendations. Will definitely be back next time we come through Austin.

The chicharron tacos were crunchy, not difficult to chew and the right balance between soft and crunchy. Barbacoa was okay. Green sauce was mildly spicy and definitely added that edge to the tacos, it is the right balance with the cilantro and the cebolla. About 5-10 min wait outside. It is in a residential area right on the side of the street but there is plenty of parking right before the food truck (so probably don't pull in til the last second). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outside picnic tables make it a nice ambiance, it is also clean and comfortable. Roof area and umbrellas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Found this place when looking for a quick place after a long day of travel. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered chicken, steak, and vegetable tacos, and an order of chips and guacamole. The tacos were very good. The guacamole was great too. The chips, meh, they could have been much better. I would go back for the vegetable tacos alone. Yum!!!

The food was well spiced, nice and hot when I first got it! The service was ok, since they were in the food truck. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very nice and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tip: It's an outside venue/food truck, so you would need to do street parking!

    Quesabirria Taco

The QuesaBirria Plate was phenomenal and Pollo Poblano Taco was great as well. Good selection of salsas. Service was attentive, even with being a food truck. A must try, may even be than a go-to in Riverside, Rosita's!

Yes another solid Birria taco spot...and not just that...they literally have a full Tex/Mex menu....including breakfast...coming out of this cool looking trailer. Service was very friendly, food came out pretty quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have 3 picnic benches to sit and chow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Birria tacos were tender...sauces were very good, but the queso fell short for the $$...chips were solid along with the salsa.

I stumbled upon Taqueria Fenix via Google Maps due to its 5 star rating with 50 reviews and agree that it deserves all five! The truck is open from 7 AM to 9 PM and they serve the full menu with breakfast tacos even in the evening. The staff was warm and friendly, answered all of our questions, and were delighted that we were pleased with our food. The menu is vast, including like 40 very intriguing ice pop flavors. I am a sucker for Birria tacos, so I got the plate which came with the consommé (you can also buy one individual taco with a side of it!). The tacos were the right amount of crispy paired with gooey cheese and the consomme was the perfect dipping temperature. The corn tortillas are made fresh and you have a choice of flour too. The server said the Fenix taco was the most popular and came with lots of vegetables, it was delicious! The guacamole was both fresh and sizable. I ordered an Agua Fresca too. It was cucumber, spinach, and mint -- both refreshing and huge. There are two tables for two in front of the truck and it sits in front of an art studio. There is a number of parking spots. It's fun to watch all of the people pick up their food and I imagine there's some good people watching on a day when the art studio is having one of their live drawing events. I will be back to work my way through this menu! Or just stuff my face with birria. YUM

Found this place just blocks from Armadillo Clay. It is amazing! Huge menu and the food was incredibly delicious! Worth the drive!

Quesadilla and 5 mini tacos! Yum!

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Our server was a delight and took very good care of us. We didn't order any of their alcoholic beverages since we were both working, but definitely we will be back to enjoy more food and try out their beverages.

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! So we had to try... We were lucky to arrive at the right time (9 pm!) where we got their last table!! Make reservations or something because this is another one of those places that fills up! So- we were taken care of immediately: chips and some very hot salsas were set on the table while we chose. They menu is in QR code format, but we asked and got paper menus as well. Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Next time I will try some other delicacies since I always get tacos tacos burritos or quesadillas: time for some new items on the menu! Enjoy!

Music was so loud in the back room areas that you could not even have a conversation with others at your table. When I asked to have the music turned down, I was ignored. My wife had crab enchiladas, a special, and said they were delicious (with suiza sauce). Beef dishes were a hit too. Too much sauce, and it completely drowned out the taste of the crab. My dad got the ancho relleno San Miguel, and I was so jealous. His dish was absolutely divine, incredibly good. I wish I'd ordered that instead. We tried both the watermelon margarita and the house frozen margarita. The watermelon was delicious, but it came in a small glass with a huge ice cube, so for the price you really don't get much drink. I'd order it again if it came in a bigger glass. The house frozen margarita, though, was delicious and strong, and much better value. For dessert, we had the crepas de cajeta. It was tasty, but it came topped with a generous amount of Nutella, which surprised me since the menu mentions caramel, not Nutella. I'd have preferred the caramel, and I'm guessing they may have run out, which would explain the swap. I just wish they'd mentioned it before serving it, since it changed the dish for me. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.
