Not a lot of meal choices in Wells, Nevada, but the good news is the Taqueria el Compa food truck feeds your appetite! Authentic flavors and quick, friendly service. I recommend the carnitas tacos.

I ordered for delivery from this place which was great. Didn't take long and the food was absolutely delicious!!! Service over the phone was nice and polite also. Definitely will order from again if I pass thru this area! Delicious!!

Food truck food ; who could go wrong with it and when surrounded by burger and fries outlets. I called out to confirm if they open ... I had just dropped to my hotel: it's a green food truck 2 min away from my hotel. It's a treat to my 5 hours journey... I ordered tacos combo $10 u get 3 tacos : rice : beans : sauce : all warm fresh ! The chips crispy and burritos and yup my fav carbeza ... even borrowed a screw driver from them ( not the drink ! ) to tighten my number plate ... until then see ya on my way back.

REAL FOOD!!! Such a welcome relief from all the basic spots on our roadtrip. Ordered a veggie burrito and added peppers, removed tomatoes and lettuce. It had rice, beans, shredded cheese, peppers, avocado, and salsa. Gentleman over the phone was super helpful letting me know how I could modify/add on to it. My order was ready in just a few mins. Great menu of classic dishes + daily specials, it'd and the perfect spot to stop on your roadtrip if near Wells, NV. So glad I stopped by. read more

I am from LA. So I am very picky about my Mexican food. This taco truck was fantastic. I highly recommend the fried fish in a torta or burrito. But everything was great. The owner is a wonderful person and works really hard. I applaud their accomplishments. I highly recommend Anyone to skip any sit down restaurant in Wells and venture over to this taco truck you won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I each ordered the three taco plate with beans and rice; I had chicken and he had beef. I've never seen tacos topped with simply raw onion and parsley before. I live in the southwest and have eaten at many authentic Mexican restaurants where tacos usually have a variety of vegetables. Raw onion is hard on my stomach so I removed all of it, not an easy task. If I had known only raw onion would be on the tacos, I wouldn't have ordered it. The biggest problem was grease, grease and more grease! I expect refried beans most of the time to have oil in them and cheese on top, but the Spanish rice was very greasy as well. After I finished eating one taco, my hands were very oily. The tacos were literally dripping with oil. The bottom of Styrofoam container was a grease slick in each compartment. My husband's dinner experience was similar to mine. I had indigestion all evening from the grease. I don't know if we hit an off night, but it was terrible food. It was not especially cheap either, and when you consider it's a truck in a potholed parking lot there's nothing that would induce me to return. read more

I drive a truck throughout the US. This is by far better than any corporate restaurant. The people are very nice and patient. Silverware,napkins everything given to you to enjoy your meal. Well Done!! read more

Excellent decision to stop for lunch as we were driving through. Delicious food, very fresh with nice portions. I had street tacos, great! Even the burger with fries was so good, fresh meat, plenty of toppings and hot fries! Will be a regular stop every time we drive through. read more

The food was amazing. We stopped through town and needed dinner. This seriously hit the spot. Their pastor was delicious and the elote was the best I've had. Food was fresh. Great service. Definitely stop here if you want some authentic and delicious Mexican food!!! My kids loved their bean and cheese burrito and the rice! Ask for extra red sauce (hint of spice but also a tad sweet too). read more

Had a great meal, $10 each. 3 tacos, rice and beans. Forgot to get chips but we were stuffed. Al pastor and shrimp were excellent, so was the chicken. Usually chicken is so dry but this was great. Fried fish taco and asada also good. read more

We were SOO very tired of chain, fast-food, road food and after seeing the few real options in Wells, we decided "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Soo glad we tried it! We both had their street tacos ( carnitas y carne asada) and would gladly return to this delightful food truck next time we are on I-80. read more
