A comparable rug at other sites were at least twice the cost, if not more. But I wasn't even able to find a rug in this overdyed, particular, beautiful shade of blue. I was fortunate to get a sale price on the rug, which made my final decision much easier; especially at a time when we are all highly price conscious and watching our spending carefully! (They even offer free returns just in case). Shipping was super quick...arrived in just 3 days from Canada, although I was expecting it to be 5-7 days. A great bonus. Thank you very much e-carpet gallery, can't wait to buy my next rug!

We booked the appointment - they arrived on time, explained everything that they would be doing, returned the next morning early so that we did not have to stay home and wait to put the final coat on, cleaned everything up and gave me tips on when to wash the floor and take care of it. M&M Chouinard were contacted through a recommendation. Their initial inspection of the floors…read moreconfirmed what we knew: the wood was old, in poor shape, and needed extensive work. Fine. After outlining that we are two adults, two teenagers, and three cats living in the space, M&M Chouinard recommended that their mid-range product would be adequate for our needs. Immediately upon completion of the refinishing, it was evident that the sanding/polishing stopped a good three inches away from the baseboards. We were told this was to avoid any nicks to the moldings, and that once the product settled the colour disparity would become less evident. Within two months of their initial work visible scratches could be seen across the floors; again, lots of people & cats using the space, but the amount of wear was immediately worrying. We contacted M&M Chouinard, requesting a follow up to assess the issue. Their rep arrived and seemed unfazed by the damage to the new floors, saying that the product was fine and perhaps we simply used the floors too often. Our options were to leave the newly done floors with clear evidence of damage, or else have them resanded, again, barely three months after initial completion, all the while being charged for the work being redone. We were able to negotiate them down to half the cost of the initial job, and I have no doubt that without arguing they would have been fine charging the same amount to do the job a second time. To add insult to injury, they were late in arriving to do the repair work. Save yourself considerable headache and take your business elsewhere. M&M Chouinard are not up to the challenge of floors that need to be walked on.
