I arrived to this state of the art facility and saw the receptionist who was friendly and courteous and actually got out of her seat to show me where to go for the parts counter. Once there, I met Ron Lapointe who graciously greeted me in my mother tongue and he was awesome. Super friendly and took the time to explain and show me the products I was purchasing. He also gave me some valuable advice on the project I was embarking on. I never felt rushed and felt like I was an important client. This company should be proud of it's people. Even the cashier and the warehouse guys were super pleasant. I will be back.

The house is still not done. her team did not tape anything off, so there is paint EVERYWHERE!! on my walls, floors, cupboards, switches and counters and even my floors. There is so much paint on my floor that scraping it off will be a waste of time, and I will have to paint my floors to hide her incompetence. Terrible job, and despite it not being done, she at no point stopped harassing us for the entire balance. 2 weeks into her "3" day job she went on a 10 day vacation, while my house just sat there. I spoke with her OWN employees, who had plenty of stories about other unhappy ripped off customers. Stay away from this company, and especially this idiot of a contractor at all costs. Unless you like throwing money away for no reason, and having a house that looks like it could've been painted by toddlers.

Waited for him the whole morning and received a text from him saying that he had to finish some other job and that he won't be able to come ... Fine I thought, I've waited for him on the Thursday at 8 AM (hour suggested by him) .... 8:30 as I saw that he wasn't there I took the liberty to call him... Mr was still in his bed (problem with his alarm clock he said)..... He managed to pass home and filled a few irregularities on the walls but still no painting (which weren't included in the contract and that I've never asked for BTW).... On the Friday he finally started painting one room, didn't finalize it, left all his material there, then went on vacation... 10 days later I received a text saying that he would come to finalize the job, unfortunately I forgot to leave access to the premises... as I wasn't in the neighborhood, I called someone to open for them (she was like 20 minutes late) but they had left because they were "loosing money". Fine, we will do it another day. I then received a text from the contractor, Raphael, saying that he didn't evaluate the amount of work which had to be done to my place the right way, so if I'd like them to finish I'd have to pay the balance .... Which I refused of course.... They never came back to finalize the work and I will have to find REAL professionals to fix the mess they have left at my place. AVOID...AVOID... AVOID!!!

They managed to tear chunks out of my hardwood when sanding and did nothing to fix the new holes. They left giant gaps unfilled after I had directly, and repeatedly, asked them to fill them in. I asked them to re-secure loose boards before the job had even started and they assured me that they would fix them and then didn't. The final result looked lifeless and bland, and I can't believe it was the coating/treatment that they recommended. I fully regret doing business with them. They were lazy, inconsistent, and outright lied to me.

He took 45% of the project cost as deposit and gave a…read moreexcuse to collect more as 15% contingencies by claiming he needs extra 1K to make the Epoxy floor that was the main reason I gave him my garage project. I refused so he demanded extra $600 to continue work and do the epoxy floor, that he was broke. On receiving this, he then abandoned my project while giving flimpsy 'weather bad' excuse. Eventually, there was good weather window and he did not follow through after confirming to come around to do the job and clean up the demolition materials he had left on my driveway for 2+ weeks. I got fed up and asked for my money back. I warned that I will report him to my bank as scam in an attempt to get my money, he said I can go ahead that he cannot return my money. He is refusing to give me back 2K of the $2,825 he has already collected from me, saying that, "my plan was to make a couple of payments to reach 1.3K." When I informed him I would take legal action against him and go to the police. He said he will not pay me anymore that and I quote him, "the money I was gonna send you will be spent on lawyers instead.". Afterwards, I allowed him to make payment of what he thinks is due to me so I can suspend the legal action I initiated, but he refused. So, essentially he wants to defraud me of $2.8K (63% of project cost) for incomplete removal of ceiling insulation of ca. 280 sq.ft garage and some drywalls including 85 sq. ft of my drywall that I never asked him to remove, then leaving part of the debris on my driveway and scampering for more than 3 weeks after failing to follow through with our agreement and being dishonest.
