Discovered Public Square Barbers in Gallatin about 8-10 months ago. I wish I was going here sooner. Atmosphere is excellent. There is beer and other drinks available if interested. If you have to wait a few min from being a walk-in, no big deal to chill and chat for a few. All the people are easy to talk to. First time I had an appointment, randomly chose K.C. As I sit in the chair, some how we start talking about something not politically correct and I hesitate to say anything else because people get their feelings hurt so easily these days. K.C. says we can talk how we want and people need to accept it. I knew this was the right place after that. Crazy you can get a good quality haircut and have a good time simultaneously. K.C. at the Gallatin location is top tier and it's a real shame he won't relocate to TX when I move. I almost want to deduct a star for that.

POOR MANAGEMENT Got a haircut from Hailey. She was very…read morenice and engaging. I realized after washing it at home there were some areas that needed fixing. I called the following weekend to get it fixed and the manager said it had been a week and if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay for another haircut. I work longer hours during the week and the only time i can get personal things done is on the weekends. I find that a week does not seem excessive to get a haircut fixed. The website said to be there at 2:25. I got the standard text as well telling me it's almost time. I got there 10 minutes early and checked in. The screen counted down from 10 mins to you're next. The stylist takes someone else and I look up and it's now saying my wait time is 20 mins. I told the stylist I was supposed to be next and she apologized and said technically she had to take this customer because he chose first available. I already waited the extra time and showed up when I was told and watched the screen say you're next only to be bumped back 20 minutes. I'll never go back and I've been going there for years.

Every time I call I either get extreme apathy, incompetence or just flat out laziness. The last time I called, I got a lady who must've been mumbling in her sleep because she couldn't respond to simple questions and when asked if she could speak up so I could actually hear her, she started whispering. I couldn't tell what happened next because she mumbled something and I asked her to speak up again and she hung up on me. We're talking about people that gatekeep your necessary medicines here not an ice cream shop. Learn how to speak clearly and with a volume above a child's whisper. I called back immediately of course because I still needed my prescription and this time I get a guy that's already pissed off and in a hurry. He answers the phone with a mushmouthed blurt so I confirm I called the right place and I get a sarcastic "yeah" response. I ask if I can get a prescription status and get an irritated "yeah". This is unacceptable and these people know they don't have to offer any type of basic common courtesy because it's the DMV of stores. You don't have a choice. Hopefully someone that can make a difference sees this. I'm not holding my breath.
