Found this restaurant when I was in town for La Tomatina and looking for paella. I had a flight to catch so didn't have much time and the server was great about accommodating me. Didn't order the paella because it's for a minimum of 2 people but I asked the server for a similar recommendation and she suggested a fish based rice dish that was delish. She said it would be a 25 minute wait but it came out in 15 minutes max. I asked for an appetizer recommendation while I waited and she recommended the sardine on toast. I'm not normally a sardine fan but I figured when in Rome (or Spain) and sardines seem popular here in Spain. So I ordered it and it was SO good. Yum! The sangria was refreshing and tasty, the vibe was a little more upscale and perfect for what I was looking for. Excellent calamari, and you can order paella. Still, you need to order paella for two people because it's rather significant, and it does take them a little while to prepare it, but it's rather excellent. It was recommended by the hotel staff at the Oceanic Valencia hotel, and it's just down the street from that hotel, and they do have outdoor seating, and the service was excellent. read more
