I called Dary this morning and made an appointment to bring it in for repair. They are "by appointment" for now to protect everyone's health. I explained that we had come into town (we are out beyond Eldorado) to run mostly medical errands, and he said he would fix the lamp as fast as possible, to avoid another trip. To my amazement, he called in less than 30 minutes to let me know the repair was done and the lamp ready to be picked up! I can't recommend his service and consideration more highly. They came out to Los Alamos, on short notice and after hours for what turned out to be a serious electrical issue. The electrician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He quickly identified the problem and showed me melted plastic and damaged wiring that could have easily started a fire. It was honestly a close call, and I'm very grateful for how promptly and professionally everything was handled. The repair was completed efficiently, the communication was great, and I felt much safer afterward. It's hard to find people who are both highly skilled and genuinely trustworthy, and Enchanted Electric absolutely earned my recommendation.

Just a few doors down from the Farmhouse Cafe (see my review about them) in what must be El Prado's version of a mini mall, sits Carol Dee's gallery. A somewhat small, rectangular space brims with some of the most unique modern style art you might see in NM this side of Meow Wolf. It all starts out in front of the gallery, with the spinning metal creations made by the guy with the patent on the spinning mechanism. Once inside the gallery space, you will find a variety of mostly local artists and their unique take on modern styles and expressions. Tomas created a warm and inviting atmosphere helping me to exploring each and every piece of art, and there is a lot of work fit into this space. If you're an art lover and tired of seeing the same old NM style art, this is a must see for you. Come for lunch at the Farmhouse Cafe and stay to browse the wonderful creations inside Carol Dee's gallery. Highly recommended.
