Initially, when booking my first appointment, there was some issues as far as the marketing service that Dr.Tao was using. It was so frustrating that I didn't want to keep trying to book however, Dr. Tao took over and personally messaged me to apologize for the issue and wanted me to give him another chance. And I am so glad I did! After speaking with the doctor, I ended up booking an appointment. Christina, the office manager was pleasant and easy to work with and helped answer alot of my questions beforehand. The office environment is lovely and clean with a very peaceful aesthetic. I immediately felt comfortable with the doctor and his sense of confidence and palpable expertise in his profession. He explained things very well and was able to make me as a layman understand the areas of concern in my body. My biggest issue that I'm dealing with currently is ankle stability which I had suspected might be related to issues in my back. Within just one session I would roughly say I had about 85% improvement in ankle stability. I was not able to stand on my right ankle and stay balanced before the appointment. I would highly recommend him and I'm glad that I gave him that second chance. Thank you, Dr. Tao and Christina! read more

My husband found Tao Chiropractic via IG and set up his consultation and visits with Dr. Gary Tao. Upon purchasing his treatment plan package, he arranged with Tao to have his treatment plan shared with me. I've dealt with severe back pain for most of my life and am always looking for better solutions/relief. Making the first appointment for consultation was easy. I simply filled out a request online and the appointment was set. Tao Chiropractic is conveniently located in Pasadena on Del Mar between Arroyo and Marengo. I wfh so it's a quick 10-15 mins surface street drive over. Bonus: the business complex has its own parking structure which is super convenient and time saving. The office is one short flight of stairs above the parking structure. No way you can get lost. Christina at the front desk is very nice and helpful. She sends regular text reminders about appointment and is extremely accommodating when I've need to reschedule. A. pleasant, smiling face upon entering any business is a sure sign of a good experience to come. The initial consultation with Dr. Tao is extremely thorough. I appreciated that he seemed focused and interested on learning my pain/injury history. He reviewed posture, work environment, physical activity, range of motion, took x-rays. Once the x-rays were ready, Dr. Tao went over his diagnosis and treatment plan suggestion. This part was easy since I was already set up to share my husband's treatment plan. I have been seeing Dr. Tao for weekly adjustments and I can honestly say it's made a difference with my mobility, pain frequency, and a slight improvement in my sleep. I leave each appointment feeling more loose, a little taller, and refreshed. 10/10! -Free parking with validation from front desk. I love not having to waste time looking for street parking. -Weekly adjustments take less than 15 mins -Treatment plans are flexible and can be shared with family -They are plant parents with a sense of humor. Live, healthy green plants with hilarious name tags are scattered throughout the office. Jake the Snake plant is a personal fave haha. I've already recommended Tao Chiropractic to a couple friends and will continue to spread the word. Looking forward to my next appointment. read more

I found Tao Chiropractic through an Instagram ad promoting a $47 new client special, and I signed up right away. There was a little initial confusion since I signed up through the ad but also reached out to the office directly--but once that got cleared up, the rest of the process was smooth. I received a few text reminders and parking instructions before my appointment, which I appreciated. The office is located in a professional building with its own ground-level parking lot. When you arrive, just let the parking attendant know you're there for Dr. Tao--they'll hand you a parking ticket you'll need to validate inside before leaving. I took the stairs up one level to reach the main courtyard, where Dr. Tao's office is located, and was greeted by Christina, the office manager, who had me fill out a quick intake form. Shortly after, Dr. Tao came out personally to greet me and bring me back for the evaluation. Dr. Tao was direct, clear, and professional. He walked me through my medical history, did a range of motion test, checked my spine, and took X-rays. He explained everything thoroughly and shared what he believed was the best course of action. I was presented with treatment plan options on paper, and I decided on twice a week for 8 weeks, followed by once-weekly maintenance visits. I paid at the front with Christina and scheduled my next appointment. The entire experience was quick, efficient, and informative. On my return visit, I asked if my wife could also benefit from the same treatment package, and Dr. Tao agreed--which was great to hear. She's now scheduled for her own evaluation, and we're both looking forward to seeing how this treatment helps us. Highlights: - Found through Instagram - $47 new patient promo - Free parking with validation from the office - Thorough evaluation with X-rays and clear treatment plan - Family-friendly and willing to share treatment access - Dr. Tao and Christina are both kind, efficient, and helpful If you're in the Pasadena area and looking for a chiropractor who's upfront, effective, and values your time, Tao Chiropractic is worth checking out. Excited to see how this goes for both my wife and me. read more

Love Sr Tao and his wife Christina. Dr Tao, by far, has been the best chiropractor I've had. I have been a patient for years now and every time I have a visit with him, I'm reminded why I need him as one of my care providers. Thank you Dr Tao & Christina! read more

My mom had a fantastic experience at Tao Chiropractic! She's dealing with back pain, and Dr. Tao provided a thorough, compassionate approach from the very first visit. Her initial appointment included full spine X‑rays, which helped Dr. Tao pinpoint the exact issue--and it was all included as part of the new patient exam package The doctor explained everything clearly--the exam results, the X‑ray findings, and the care plan--so we felt confident and informed every step of the way The first adjustment was gentle yet effective, and my mom immediately noticed improvement in her mobility and pain level. Eventually once we have a better handle of our schedules we will schedule more visits read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Tao for more than a year now and I have to say, I have been to plenty other Chiropractors and it was getting exhausting finding one that not only is close by to me, but that I trust. From the get go, after we did our initial assessment, he has been great at addressing my concerns as we went along through the years. The office is always cleanly and scheduling and re-scheduling an appointment is incredibly easy. Thanks to Dr. Tao and Christina who continue to deliver such great care! read more

Book your 1st appointment, HIGHLY recommend! So sad that I don't live in the area but if I did, I would absolutely become a regular here. The fact that doc takes digital X-rays of your body before adjusting you, blew my mind. I've been adjusted before but never has a chiropractor taken X-rays to confirm the kinks via X-ray before an adjustment. I was beyond impressed, doc is so well versed in his craft and extremely knowledgeable. Book that appointment, you won't regret it! He's also very kind and so is Christina (office manager). The vibes, facility and service are immaculate! read more

Dr. Tao is competent, thorough, knowledgeable and is well verse when it come to the structure of the body. He is one of the few and very best Dr. of chiropractor around. And could teach other chiropractors a lot. He is also very humble and a "people person". You are not just a number with him, he delivers and defines the definition of his profession. He is competent with what he does because he is operating within this Godly given gift. This review is written from experience , and am sure other reputable people will agree. The environment is tranquil and sterile, and you are treated as if you are his only patient read more

Tao Chiropractic has been a wonderful experience with great care from Dr Tao and Christina! Highly recommended.

Dr. Tao and Christina are the best. From the moment you walk into their office, you feel welcomed and cared for. The space is clean, calm, and inviting -- and Christina always greets you with a smile and makes scheduling a breeze. Dr. Tao is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen. He explains things clearly and makes sure you're comfortable every step of the way. His treatments are thoughtful and effective -- I've noticed a big difference in how I feel since starting care with him. What really sets this office apart is how personal and genuine the experience is. You're not just another appointment on the calendar -- they truly care. I always leave feeling better, both physically and mentally. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a chiropractor. read more

I have had chronic health issues for YEARS that left me in daily, chronic pain, and yet despite seeing many doctors and specialists they have not been able to find the root cause or alleviate much of my symptoms. I came to see Dr. Tao on the recommendation of friends who were past patients. I was skeptical after trying so many things to no avail, but I can say I was not disappointed!! I started to feel a difference within the first few sessions. I signed up for a plan and started going twice a week. A few months later, I went on a vacation and skipped a couple weeks- I could IMMEDIATELY feel the difference of not having the adjustments. Dr. Tao takes before and after X-Rays and does a full assessment so you can track your progress. I also love how he answers all my questions and explains everything so I can understand what is happening in my body. After a few months when we did our check in, there was a notable improvement in my X-rays. I also had a tennis elbow injury that he completely cured. I am sleeping better, moving better, have less joint and back pain, better posture, and feel overall better in my body! I am still seeing him over a year later. The office is conveniently located and has its own parking garage, which the office validates parking for. They work with my FSA and have flexible plans. Making appointments is super easy either through the app or through Christina, the receptionist, who is incredibly kind and helpful. On a few occasions I've had to call and change to a different time and they have always been incredibly understanding and accommodating. The visits are quick and efficient, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. I always look forward to my appointments! If you are like me and have constant pain, stiffness, or trouble sleeping, I Highly recommend a visit to Tao Chiropractic! read more

Excellent care! The place is extremely clean and they validate parking, which is a big deal in Pasadena. I love going. I need to go more often. Thank you. read more

Amazing results after a few visits. I am a woman of a certain age, (in my Wendy Williams voice), I grew up being told the Chiropractors were "quack" doctors. Boy, was that ever WRONG. I am able to get up and around on the 'table' so much easier. I can also get up off of the floor easier. My stomach muscles have returned. I wish I had done this decades ago. As Dr. Tao mentioned, we think this slowing down of the body is normal (or something like that). It doesn't have to be that way. I highly recommend Dr. Tao. read more

Dr. Tao is the best! He was super thorough in my initial assessment, and talked me through his recommended treatment plans. I see him once a week and his adjustments are great! I really enjoyed my experience getting adjusted by Dr. Tao. It was really easy to schedule an appointment for my first time visit. They have a really great deal right now for first time patients. You receive a full examination, a set of x rays, and an adjustment. Dr. Tao took his time to listen to my concerns and go over each x ray with me to explain the areas of concern. I can honestly say that no chiropractor has been able to crack me the way Dr. Tao did. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I'd also like to add that parking is very easy and they validate. read more

I've been adjusted by Dr. Tao several times and can't say enough good things the experience. He's hand on, gentle, and helps you identify the root of the problem. I've been waiting to leave this review for him and finally had time to do it!! If you're looking to enhance your body and feel great, this is the chiropractor you want to visit. Even if you're feeling good already, imagine feeling better than that? That's where a visit with Dr. Tao can take you. read more

In 2021, I started working out regularly and noticed I was stiff often after work outs, and I work a 9-5 desk job and definitely have bad habits with my posture. Prior to seeing Dr. Tao, I had no experience with a chiropractor, and was a little nervous about starting to see one. Dr. Tao and his staff quickly erased those nerves. They welcome me every time with a warm smile and I feel the genuine care in my health and well-being every time I enter the office. Any time I have had a question or concern, he has been quick to answer and it's sincerely appreciated. I noticed the difference in how my body felt right away - looser, more flexible, and I'm sleeping better and recovering faster. On the rare occasion where I've had been a few minutes late or had to reschedule, the staff has been great about responding and/or rebooking. Getting to the office is very easy and there's plenty of parking, which is always appreciated in LA. I'm looking forward to many more visits to Dr. Tao and continuing to get stronger and healthier! read more

I went to Dr Tao because I was having neck, shoulder and back problems. I was referred by my acupuncturist, who I also highly recommend. On my first visit I was very impressed. I wanted to go to a chiropractor who used X-ray to determine the exact problem going on with me, and that's exactly what he did. He explained in detail what the problems were and how he could help me. After my first visit I got immediate relief and decided to work with him on a regular basis for in order to help with some major issues, including vertigo. I feel I'm in good hands. I'm fairly new to the Pasadena area and needed to find a chiropractor for some shoulder and arm pain I had been experiencing. I found Dr. Tao on Facebook as he was offering a first time patient special for x-rays, exam and adjustment. I hadn't been to a chiropractor since a car accident many years ago. Well, I'm very happy I have found his practice and after just a few visits have been getting some relief. I love his friendly demeanor and his caring attitude. Also, the facility is great, they validate your parking so I highly recommend their services! read more

My experience with Dr. Tao was nothing but amazing! I've only gone to one prior chiropractor a few years ago and the difference was night and day. Dr. Tao first took the time to understand if I had any pain or past injuries then we did an x-ray and he showed me where my past injury was and explained what a normal spine would look like. When it was time for the adjustment, I was a bit nervous but Dr. Tao was so thorough with his explanations on what he was going to do next and it made me feel more comfortable. After the adjustment, my body felt lighter as if certain stress on body was relieved. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tao to my family and friends. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and customer service!!! read more

Highly recommended! I benefitted so much from Dr. Tao's service. I used to have a chronic neck and upper back pain, seeing top doctors and surgeons from USC Keck with zero results. I had a left upper back muscle tightness and I could only turn my neck to the left for no more than 45 degrees. After only a couple sessions I started seeing much improvement. I can now turn my neck to the left without pain to about 90 degrees, as much as I could turn to the right. Best of all Dr. Tao is quick at his adjustments and he knows exactly what I needed for the session. I try to make it in twice a week. Bottom line, he's helped me so much for a chronic pain that I thought I had to endure for the rest of my life. Thank you Christina and Dr. Tao! read more

very friendly staff the doctor focuses on improving body movement Very friendly I would recommend him

Dr Tao is an incredible Chiropractor and human being. When I first started seeing him, I was very unsure about Chiropractic and didn't believe him when he said he could support me with my migraines because for years I was constantly given medication that either did nothing or made me feel like a zombie. He walked me through everything he was doing and explained in detail what was going on so that I could better understand my body. Fast forward 3 years and now I've gone from having migraines regularly to rarely having them at all. I went from constantly living my life praying for a day without a migraine to not even thinking about them anymore. I have been able to introduce certain foods back into my diet that had previously triggered my migraines. I feel a lot better and am able to enjoy life more. I highly recommend going to and seeing Dr Tao!! read more
