Given the limited amount of Asian food I find in this city, I would have to say this one is fairly…read moredecent in authenticity. The space is comfortable and they lock their door even in the daytime which gives the customer a sense of security.
The service was attentive and the menus were creative (hole punch your options on a paper order). The lunch option come with an appetizer, selection of beverages, a main course (chose your meat) for AR$115 and add a dessert for AR$130. They have chicken, pork, beef, seafood or veggie options. The main dishes and appetizer change often enough to have a variety.
Today's selection included a simple chicken broth soup with green onions, carrots and bean sprouts, accompanied with pieces of a savory onion pancake and a side of a couple fried dumplings in a sweet tangy sauce for the appetizer.
I tried the pork, which was served over wide rice noodles and mixed with bean sprouts, red bell pepper, and matchstick carrots. The seafood option was a breaded fish in a bright red sweeat and sour sauce with plenty of onions and a bowl of rice.Though the spicy rating seems to be intense, there was no detectable heat in the spice. Portion sizes are generous, and one can easily be filled without dessert.
I would highly recommend the thai lemonade which had a strong ginger, mint and lemongrass flavor.
