I appreciate that when you bring a problem up, they are very reactive and supportive of testing. That's been nice, they don't ignore your complaint. What I don't appreciate is being told incorrect information, and getting no response from them when I reach out. I.e. I was told to go to a walk-in clinic for a specific test, it needed to be done quickly. I drove to the clinic they suggested, that test is not available there. I then try to call the office and reach out via their portal, and do not get a single response. I get frustrated and just decide to deal with the pain. Ultimately I ended up going elsewhere to take care of my issue. Ultimately, I understand they're busy, most places are, I can look past this. Then the very last time I went, was for a routine visit, in which case, after being checked in and brought to a back room, the person taking my vitals started questioning whether or not my insurance was going to cover my annual visit. I said I believe it would, it usually does (It would have been, I checked with my insurance after this) -- however, instead, they suggested canceling this appointment and making a later appointment in the year because the insurance coverage was unknown. I was now questioning things myself, so I agreed. Before I left, they sent in a very nice woman to have a brief conversation about how my life is doing currently, and that was that. I now see my insurance is being billed over $300 for that. I also owe a balance. Insurance Code 99213. To tell some random person I didn't know that it's hard raising young kids under the age of two. And the weather is nice. Less than 5 minutes. I really want everything to work out at this place, but I am really starting to question things.

My girlfriend and I were in a car accident that was deemed my fault. GEICO was responsible for my girlfriends medical bills ( a horrible company in its own but that's another story) . We were nearing the end and it had to go to arbitration due to GEICO refusing to pay a fair settlement. My defense was a GEICO lawyer, who basically admitted to me with a smirk ( when I mentioned Dan Mangum had prescribed care for my girlfriend ) that they had "worked" with Dan in the past. That smirk, and being told by two other lawyers who we sought out for assistance from that Dan Mangum is on GEICO payroll have made me conclude that this man does, in fact, take payments from GEICO in order to downplay your injuries, testify against your personal injury claims in court, provide watered down, biased medical reviews ( for insurance companies to use in reducing your settlement ), and even going so far that their medical billing specialist "Doesn't talk to lawyers" for some strange and unexplained reason. I am appalled by the morality of this man and his office. We went to him in good faith seeking help for my girlfriends constant pain. This man will act as if he cares for your wellbeing, recovery, and a fair treatment, then turn around and do everything he legally can get away with to aid insurance companies in reducing the amount of money they have to pay to you for your injuries. All for an extra buck. It saddens me to see a such a morally warped health provider has taken up office in my community. I give this as a warning. If you are seeking fair treatment, fair evaluation, and honest compensation for your pain, suffering, and damages in any kind of injury or medical issue covered by an insurance company. Do not approach this man.

Around 9, got a call asking for me to come earlier - 10 or 10:30, so I moved meetings around (I do have to work!) and accommodated the 10:30 and got in at 10:10 for paperwork. And then my husband and I waited and waited. Finally, I got called in at JUST after wait for it...11:20. Did the initial check in with the nurse and then I'm assuming maybe an RN or NP came in (God help us if she's a doctor) who asked me how I was doing and when I said I was a bit nervous she laughed and said - what? You're scared?! And laughed again. Then she proceeded to literally rip off the bandages I had and upon seeing the gash appeared visibly horrified and said oh you're gonna have to go to an ER you cut a tendon, and handed me a wad of paper towels and walked away. My husband asked where should we go, do we need to do anything and she just dismissed us!!!! So - we got in the car and my husband googled ERs and that's the end of this story but OMG! But this morning-I go to the lab in Tigard for some blood work for a doctor appt at the Beaverton location later in the week. I go at lunch and get checked right in. Then a few min later, I am called up and told the lab tech is taking a break after the next person so I have to come back in 40 min or come back another time. UH, should they not take care of the patients that are waiting, THEN take a break. I left thinking I would come back after work or just go to the Beaverton lab after my appointment. After doing some grocery shopping nearby. I decide to go back and see if I would be the first person the tech sees at 12:45. If not, then I would go back to work. I go in and am told I would be the first person she would see when she returns from break. So I sit and sit and sit. 15 min go by and no sign of this tech. The receptionist tells me she is checking out my chart and will be calling me in momentarily. Then I sit and watch as FIVE other people are called in--all ahead of me. The receptionist tells me I am the next one. yeah right. The tech comes out and calls yet another person that is not me. I was fed up and start leaving as the tech looks at me and asks my name and says I am the next one in line-which I am thinking is not true. There were still 4 more people sitting around and they probably were not for urgent care. By now it was the principal of the thing--they lied to me and wasted so much of my time. They wasted my entire lunch hour plus another 20 min. Be honest and just say--there are a good 10 people ahead of you when they return from break. I will never go to the Tigard lab ever again. I will only go to the Beaverton one.

I was referred by my primary care provider to rule out potential causes of my symptoms, yet I never felt that my experiences or concerns were genuinely heard. I wasn't asking for invasive procedures or unnecessary testing--I was simply hoping for a thoughtful evaluation to establish a starting point. Instead, I was told that what I was experiencing wasn't possible. After repeatedly advocating for myself, additional blood work and an ultrasound were finally ordered. Those tests ultimately revealed a diagnosis, yet the only follow-up I received was a brief message stating, "You have ***," with no explanation, discussion, or plan for moving forward. As a patient, I expected communication, education, and compassion. The most disappointing part of this experience was feeling like a chart was treated before a person. Listening to patients is one of the most important parts of medicine, and I never felt heard. This was the worst bedside manner I have experienced, and unfortunately, I will not be returning for future care.

As a fellow healthcare professional I know how to run a business and care for patients without my office feeling like a people mill. This is not like other large clinics or hospitals I have been to. This occurrence spanned over the course of 3 months due to issues with insurance and waiting for the next open enrollment. Dr. Vandana was quick to assess that my shoulder was indeed progressing into a painful frozen shoulder issue due to the small battery of tests she had me do. I could not get any Physical Therapy help during those painful 3 months due to insurance issues so I had to wait until the next open enrollment when I transitioned over to PPO coverage. This all took place a few days before the New Year. Out of the pocket visits to Physical Therapy were expensive ($125-150 per session) and I was not going to pay for that whatsoever so I had to find some alternative temporary remedies to power me through this ordeal. In the meantime, on my visit, Dr. Vandana wrote me a referral letter which was the key missing piece of the puzzle that enabled me to get Physical therapy help on the first week of January. Had I tried to get a referral letter through regular channels and through a regular Physician, I would have waited at least 3 months since I was considered a new patient. I didn't know that an Urgent Care doctor can write you a referral to PT anytime. Nurse Abigail B. did a great job taking my vitals prior to me seeing Dr. Vandana so I have to give her props as well. I was treated with the utmost of respect and my visit was less than 30 min. I'm thankful that we have these Urgent Care centers where we can get immediate help and going through the regular channels I find challenging since I recently found-out that the cause of these issues are due to lack of medical professionals because of shortage of personnel.

As a result, we were charged $175 for each appointment, along with additional lab fees, which quickly added up. The 2 medications prescribed were extremely expensive--around $2,000 total--even though the doctor was aware that we were paying out of pocket. She initially acknowledged this and said she would switch to more affordable options. However, four days later, my mother ran out of her medication, and the updated prescription had still not been sent to the pharmacy. When I followed up, I was informed that the doctor was no longer able to change the medications. I was also unable to speak directly with the doctor, as the front desk would not allow it. Overall, the lack of communication, follow-through, and consideration for cost made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this clinic based on our experience.

Last month, the Safeway pharmacy, despite knowing the prescription was recurring, didn't have the medication forcing me to go back to Oregon to reissue the prescription to another Safeway pharmacy. I had two months refills left. Great, they sent the new one but retracted both of the old ones. This month without notice, we were told we don't have one more refill as it was retracted and the doctor refuses to honor the original prescription leaving me without essential pain medication. Of course, all this was done behind our back without the courtesy of letting us know one month ago they were cancelling one refill. Even as a patient in Oregon, Erin - one of the nurses - was very uneducated. As I am on SSD for PTSD, depression and Fibromyalgia, I sought a referral to a psychological doctor. I was referred to a general therapist with a master's degree. Erin's response is that there is no difference between therapist. In other words, a psychologist is the same as a psychiatrist which is the same as someone with a BS in therapy. Anybody with a few brain cells would recognize there is a reason for each distinctive degree and the courses required to earn each specific degree. It would be similar to stating all surgeons are the same and that a Premed student equates to a Neurological specialist. AVOID THIS OFFICE. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DELUSIONAL.
