He made sure I was even throughout and even contoured my abs and biceps to look more defined ( I didn't know you could do that!). I told the owner (I believe his name was Steve) this and apologized for the inconvenience, but he immediately got defensive telling me I was only the 4th girl in his 16 years of experience to say that and finished the conversation saying "Just go to Palm Beach." It felt very unprofessional to take it so personally when I tried to make it clear it was just my own personal preference. You don't need to make someone feel bad for being uncomfortable standing naked for 30 minutes alone with a man she's never met, regardless of it being your job or not. You don't know anyone's history or why they have those preferences, there's probably a valid reason for it that has nothing to do with you.

OK! The Stone Oak location just got a new bed and its phenomenal! I tried it out for the first time and it gave me some great color! Its called the Magic 636! Ive tanned at a couple tanning salons in the area and i just started up a membership at Tansations.This bed is by far the best ive tried, I didnt get pink or red just gave me a nice color! I had a slight basic tan before hand but i think even if i didnt i would still see a great difference in just one session. I garantee you that one time in this bed you will see some great color! I only wanted a simple pedicure with gel polish and a plain manicure with no color. I was told the manicure would be 25 dollars and the pedicure would be 35 dollars plus 8 dollars to fix one toenail. My total should have been 68 dollars. When it was time to pay, they told me the total was 88 dollars which did not make sense based on what they originally told me. As it got closer to closing time they also began rushing me in a way that made me uncomfortable even while I was trying to pay. Because they were rushing me I did not have time to do the math and I just paid. Later I realized that it appears they added in a tip without asking. I left feeling overcharged by 20 dollars and not respected as a customer. I cannot help but feel that I was treated unfairly and possibly profiled. To make things worse it has been less than a week and the skin around my nails is already peeling as if I never got a manicure at all. I do not work with my hands and my manicures normally last weeks. This was clearly poor quality work. I was not going to write a review at first but after realizing I will have to get my nails redone so soon after being overcharged and rushed I am truly disappointed. I would not recommend this salon and would actively discourage others from coming here based on my experience.
