Sold my house thru Tanika Donnell but later regretted it. I based my selection for a realtor on online reviews, which taught me a lesson not to fully trust those, especially the perfect scores (too good to be true). I'm providing my own review so that either (1) others will think twice about hiring her or (2) Tanika will try to do a better job selling their house. She was rude at times and almost did nothing after putting my house on the market. The posting had a lot of typos. Crucial information that typical buyers would want to know were not included. I already moved to a new house, and once when I went back to my old house for sale, an interested buyer arrived and said she didn't know how to get inside the community before she saw us. I wonder how many more buyers we lost due to lack of property details in her posting. When I first signed the contract with her to put my house on the market, I asked her to include the appliances in the sale of the house and use it for price negotiations. After all pricing between buyer was settled, she texted, asking if I'm leaving those appliances in the house. They were specifically mentioned in our contract agreement so why would she ask after negotiations? So, I left those for the buyer "for free" (I'm being sarcastic). As with the other guy who put his review here, Tanika was a no-show during closing. Not a single word from her after the sale. If you are selling your house, you should trust your gut if you feel she isn't the right person to hire. read more

Beware, Especially Veterans!!!!!! In Feb 2022, one of Tanika Donnell's sales agents (and my brother) made a deal with an investor/wholesaler to sell my father's home. The offer of $65k was presented to me (the Power Of Attorney) as a fair market value offer by Tanika's sales agent based upon purported comps she ran but she refused to give me a copy of the comps. I trusted Tanika's sales agent as she was my representative in the deal but after I attended the closing it was slowly revealed the wholesale nature of the deal and I received below market value for my father's property. When I contacted Tanika about her sales agent actions and/or inactions, it was discovered that she had not even properly communicated with her own sales agent. Tanika took no responsibility for not supervising her sales agent properly and suggested we attend mediation per the contract. I filed a complaint with TREC and they informally warned Tanika and her sales agent. When I hired an attorney to make a demand for my damages and mediation I received a late response from Navasha and Tanika's attorney where I was informed they not making an offer to settle with me, we not attending mediation (per the contract), and threatening to seek damages against me. Really??? Now Tanika's sales agent license is inactive. I started doing some research and I found out that Tanika and Kenny Donnell were sued by Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company and they received a judgment for $1,016,333.42 against both of them (Case 3:17-cv-00997-M) in connection with improvements to be performed at Dallas National Cemetery, City of Allen Police Station, City of Crowley Veterans Plaza, Houston Renal Clinic, and New Orleans Urgent Care. I would have never done business with Tanika Donnell or her brokerage had I known this judgment existed because my father was a veteran, he is buried at Dallas National Cemetery, and in my opinion the judgment against Tanika Donnell demonstrates a lack of respect for our veterans. read more

Very unhappy with our experience with Tanika. Basically, she was very sloppy and disingenuous throughout the process. She didn't look through any of our documents, or bother show up to our closing. It turned out that we found out that we had signed some major (non-standard) addendums which we realized at the closing. She was basically MIA throughout the whole process, and took virtually no responsibility for her actions (despite making her customary 3%). Given we were relatively inexperienced buyers, we chose her on the basis of most of positive reviews. But we later found out she is a zillow "premier agent" which means she pays for premium placement on the site. If you know exactly what are you doing, and want the bare minimum of effort from a realtor, she might be okay for your needs. Otherwise, I'd recommend you find someone else. read more

My husband and I sold our home and are now having one built thanks to Tanika. Tanika and her staff were nothing but professtional from the time we met them. Our home was sold within 90 days. Staff: Ms. Bridges,(Realtor) listened to what we were looking for in a home. She took us all over DFW. She had superb customer service and was patient. Tim/photographer was great. He was punctual and professional and took some very good pictures. The videographer, I forgot her name but she was exceptional too. Everyone we came in contact with at Tanika Donnell Realtor were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Tanika answered all of our questions/concerns in a timely manner whenever we contacted her. I started getting frustrated about the bidding on homes. I'm not sure if you guys know but the housing market is crazy and can be stressful. However,Ms. Bridges eliminated that stress for us. She took us to areas that were building that we had never heard of being from Louisiana. It was then we found our new home. We are beyond happy. If you tell them what you want, they will find it. First of all I'm serious TANIKA DONELL REALTY AND HER TEAM ARE THE REAL DEAL WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and wife were having trouble deciding what to do if we should sell or house or rent it. My wife told me look find a realtor and let's get the ball rolling! Little did we know Tanika and her team became more like family to us, they made us very comfortable and told us wer'e in good hands. Shout out to BaTiba she was also assiting us and made us feel very comfortable also thank you so much!
