Really good!!! Worker was really nice, with about $10, it will land you on 1/4 of a roast duck w/ rice and a small portion of seaweed salad. They also have other protein options like fried pork belly and roast pork. read more

Tang's Asian Market - Roast Duck Lunch - International Grocery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

It sounds like the owner is from my area in China. The products are like the ones I bought in Los Angeles. I have not bought too much, but definitely would be going to the market again. I don't know about the cooked food but definitely open to trying it. The ambience of the place is small and I would like to see the market grow and increase, but markets don't make a lot of money. The smell is clean and the market takes a lot of effort to manage and maintain. Brian, the son-in-law of the owner, is a friendly and welcoming man. I hope he gets the opportunity to open another market in this area. We definitely need more Asian Markets in NWA. read more

I was a little sad their Deli is closed Mondays and Tuesdays as I was going there for the lunch box. But they did have full size homemade pigs in a blanket at only $1.75 each and it was amazing! The hot dog inside had cheddar in it too. I highly recommend these. Will try and go back Wednesday for the deli. Looking forward to trying the lamb. read more

Tang's Asian Market - Home made pig in a blanket (cheddar hot dog) - International Grocery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

Came to Tang's for the first time on a late Saturday afternoon and the deli was closed, so wasn't able to try anything fresh. There's lots dry goods and frozen goods, with limited fresh produce and meat options. I was expecting to smell fresh fish when walking in, but that was not the case. The store was very clean and check out was quick. It's a good place to find Asian snacks, drinks, noodles, and specific items needed for recipes. read more

Stopped in because a friend told me they have a great lunch deal, and I'm so glad I did! Everyone was extremely friendly and helped me pick a perfect lunch. Since I couldn't decide between the roast duck and the pork belly, the gal at the counter offered a half serving of each. Both were excellent! The meal also comes with rice and seaweed salad. You don't see much seaweed salad in Northwest Arkansas, so I was pleasantly surprised and it was delicious and refreshing. I also got a bbq pork bun and a custard bun. Both were to die for! So pillowy and just excellent. I will definitely return for lunch in the future as well as to shop the market to support a local business! read more

Tang's Asian Market - Roast Duck, Pork Belly, Rice, Seaweed Salad - International Grocery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

Always have very good char siu pork and pork belly. Helpful staff. They have a few things we look for but can also find at other markets

Tangs always has whatever ingredients I'm looking for, has an excellent selection of fresh produce frozen Asian dumplings, and lots of unique items that you can't find elsewhere. Just looking around is an adventure. read more

They sell several different brands of natto (Japanese fermented soybeans). Given the modest size of the place, they have an impressive selection of organ meat and seafood. The $0.50 debit-card fee is unfortunate. read more

What a great find her in NW Arkansas this place has box lunches to go such as crispy duck and sandwiches. The pig in the blankets are a must they are excellent. I like looking around here for new and odd stuff that can't be found in your local grocery stores. Always great service each time I've been in here. It smells so good when you walk in I guarantee you'll by something before you leave it's that good. Don't freak out that the building is kinda old n outdated. It's what's inside that'll bring ya back for all your Asian cooking adventures. read more

Clean, friendly & helpful service, excellent quality of produce, reasonable prices and great variety of products. The deli was closed the day I was there, I look forward to trying it. One of many reasons I will be back. Thank you! read more

Great place for getting fresh fish, roasted pork belly and duck! Reminds me of Asian markets in the larger cities because they hang from a hook behind a plexiglass. They have a great selection of groceries, fresh and frozen, too. They fry fish for free and do meals to go. The only thing I wish they would do is dim sum. Proper dim sum. That would be epic and I'd be there every weekend. Here's to wishing! read more

Tang's Asian Market - Roasted duck (top) and roasted pork belly (bottom). - International Grocery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

Love this market. LOVE. I used to live right by china town in Seattle and I miss it every day. There are other decent markets here where I can get what I need and crave, but this place is by far the best and they offer hot food options- BONUS! Super reasonable & even low prices! Lovely owners & cashiers. They are genuinely friendly and always helpful. SPARKLING clean store, INSANELY delicious BBQ pork, duck, house made buns & egg tarts. They have all of the pantry essentials. Small but decent produce section- I do still have to pick up a few produce items elsewhere but that's ok. They always have basics & what's fresh and in season- Got great fresh blue crabs here a few months ago. They just added a big seafood freezer section also. I just wish more people would shop here so the produce section would continue to grow and grow! :) read more

Tang's is easy to find. At 224 South Thompson Street, Springdale, AR 72764, its distinctive gold and red scream out, "Stop here for a whole fried duck!" Well, actually, the signs are more reserved. They announce things like "Live Seafood" and "Lunch Boxes." Just how alive is the seafood at Tang's? Well, if the crawdads, dungeness crabs, and lobsters ever put aside their petty differences about whose claw is the chompiest, they will unite, break out of their enclosures and head for Beaver Lake. For live seafood, you can't beat Tang's. This stuff is so fresh it will bite you. Read my full review at: http://mercadomama.com/2015/02/tangs-asian-market-buns-bonito-and-boxed-lunches/ read more

Such a cool awesome place to get asian ingredients you can't find in a normal grocery store.

It's was a great Experience and they had fresh warm rice they also had very good dessert and amazing dumpling and pot stickers

Nice store. It's kind of small, but it has quite a few specialty items for cooking an Asian meal that you won't find at the regular grocery chains in the area. They carried some produce that you won't find elsewhere in the area, but I passed on what I was wanting because it didn't look all that fresh. I'm not sure how often they get in produce shipments, but I think it would be better to find out and shop for produce on that day. read more

Thank you JESUS! She makes her own bao's!! My quartley trips to Ark just got a little better! Call ahead to order in quantity! Have to stock up before the long ride to Eureka Springs. She makes egg custards too.. They weren't ready when I got there, but I'll definitely be back to try em! read more

Crispy duck, pork belly, and char siu pork with generous portions of rice in their deli lunch boxes make this place worth the drive for me. The grocery and produce selection are also some of the best in the area. Well-stocked, clean, organized, and friendly. Love this place. read more

Baked buns, BBQ Pork, Instant Noodles, & Hi-Chew candies. Need I say more? :) Best Asian market in NWA yet. Go shop there! I met the owners. They have been in business in NWA for many years. Great folks. read more

Always fresh food when we go! We love the roasted duck, and get it a couple of times a month. I like the variety of groceries that are available to us. Staff is always friendly and helpful read more

Tang's has a very special place in my heart as this is the only place where you can find fresh seafood AND roast duck AND roast pork belly AND freshly made bao's (dumplings) in one stop. They also fry any fish you buy there for free!! And they KNOW how to fry it perfectly too! I wish I lived a little closer just to have access to the food here. Love it! One of my favorite asian markets in NWA area. read more

This is the cleanest and best organized Asian grocery store in the area. It definitely leans more towards Chinese style groceries. Staff is friendly and speak English. read more

The family that owns this joint is super nice! Although I never bought groceries here, they have the BEST pork belly & roast duck. I've been to big cities like L.A & NY and this place is up to bar with those places! read more

I love this market. I always find something new to try. Great quality and selection. Fresh produce.

We needed an Asian market in Northwest Arkansas that carries a variety of ethnic ingredients and we finally got it! I've lived here for about 10 years and I'm glad there's finally a place like this. The prices are great and they carry everything I need. I always come here for fried fish as it's always seasoned and cooked to perfection. The BBQ buns are delicious too. This is a family that I'm glad to support. read more

My fiancé and I stopped here one random Sunday afternoon, and we spent a good amount of time browsing through everything. They have the typical asian goods, like cooking tools, frozen foods, sauces, etc. They also have fresh, cooked meat they'll carve for you, and several varieties of fresh fish that they'll fry for you RIGHT THERE for no cost! We ended up getting a fresh order of fried calimari in just minutes. We also picked up a premade box of tuna sashimi for only a few bucks. It's a good thing I don't live closer to this place because I'd gorge myself on calimari and tuna (oh, and those yummy pork buns too) every day! Next time I'm in Springdale I plan on stopping by for sure. read more

I am very happy to find an Asian store where I can get both bakery items and roasted meats. The grocery and produce selection is modest but will have many things you are looking for at (regarding the items I remembered seeing and noting the prices on) a lower price than the other 2 Asian markets in that area. They only lost a star because I was looking for a vet specific Chinese ingredient that I didn't want to make from scratch. read more

Excellent, I've been craving Japanese sweet potatoes for months. Walked in here and there it was! Excellent prices, roasted duck available. This trip we tried the bean paste buns and the bbq pork buns, only 90 cents and so yummy. Great selection of rice and udon noodles. Only problem all purchases made with debit or credit card must be over 10 bucks, but don't worry for 10 bucks I got 4 packs of large rice noodles, 2 buns, and 3 lbs of sweet potato. read more

I think this is the best Asian grocery in NWA. The exterior is not so inviting but lots of options inside. You can even get a variety of steamed buns and pork or duck lunch boxes. read more

I always come here to get my fried fish pompano and instant ramen. And i always find new things to buy like the melon milk & fresh sweet tamarind. Plus, their baos are really good. The owners are friendly, too. read more

They have a good selection of shelf-stable Asian food items. I've twice bought the small, crunchy Persian or European cucumbers here and both times half of them were bad the day I brought them home. The last time I noticed the "good by date" had already passed. I've never bought any of their fresh baked/cooked foods so I can't comment on that but I'm not interested since they can't seem to rotate their produce properly. I won't buy anything fresh from here, given my experience, but I would return for shelf-stable items. I'll just be sure to check the expiration date. read more

You won't find a better asian market anywhere within a 2-3 hour drive of Tang's Asian Market. Almost all of the products are authentic Chinese. Large selection of pre-cooked, frozen, fresh, and non-food items (cookware and dinnerware). Good service. Good Prices, significantly lower than Fox Farm in Joplin, MO and Seoul Asian Market in Springfield, MO. I bought an entire roast duck and it was delicious, moist, and juicy. The store is clean and well stocked. If you're looking for good food - especially Chinese items - Tang's is the best place without a doubt. read more

Excellent place to get fresh frozen fish and fresh. Frozen fish is not watered down like what you buy at the local grocery store.

I love this market! Shop there all the time. Fresh products. Very clean and friendly people

I was pleasantly surprised with the selection here: roasted duck, Chinese pastries, Asian veggies & fruit (bok choy, kabocha, bean sprouts, napa, Yama iMo, etc), miso, tofu, assortment of rice (including sweet rice), authentic Asian sauces, Japanese mayonnaise, curry, lots of seafood (frozen, fresh, dried & canned), spices, snacks, desserts such as almond jello, Asian noodles,.... They had a lot of seriously authentic Asian spices, dried mushrooms, and seafood that I don't know how to cook with. When I mean Asian, I mean an mix of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai, which are all so flavorful and usually if you eat one, you eat the others :) The prices are really reasonable and I didn't find anything close to expiring. The family who runs it is very nice and their roasted duck is flavorful, moist, and plump. If you are Asian like me, this place is a godsend. I just moved here a few weeks ago, and when a person is far away from home, they crave home-cooked comfort food, which to me is Japanese and Chinese food. Needless to say, I opened that roasted duck carton and ate it with my bare hands :) I am so relieved! read more

We just shopped at Tangs yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. The store has only been opened a few months, but I am guessing it will be around for a long time. The young lady, who I believe is one of the owners was so friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable. I hope they stay that way and best of all: it was spotless and nothing was crowded. For anyone wanting to try a new Asian market, give this one a shot. We used to go to one closer to our home, but now, we will continue to use Tangs. read more
