I would say take some private lessons first if you are a beginner like me. I didn't even know the ABCs of Salsa and Bachata, and taking private lessons definitely helped. After I got little comfortable with it, I started taking the group choreo classes. The group classes are fun and great way to be comfortable with dancing with strangers. After couple group classes, went to social dancing which was terrifying but had to do it if I ever wanna become a decent dancer lol. Overall this is a great place to learn new choreo or start from scratch.

You can either pay a drop in fee per class or buy monthly packages at different rates, so the payments are flexible, which is great for a single mom like me. She generally takes cash or personal checks. If you're not a natural dancer, you'll feel silly for a while, and then one day in class you'll realize that you are actually a dancer! Denise finds a way to tap into the grace and femininity of even the most bumbling of students (hello me!). In order to allow her students the performance experience, she also expends huge amounts of effort to put on a student expo show annually, so that students can perform at a live venue and invite their friends and family to admire their hard work. My now-husband and I were inexperienced dancers who wanted to have a memorable first dance at our wedding, so we gathered a few of our favorite songs and signed up for a series of 12 one-hour private lessons with Lisa. At our first meeting, we told her what we were imagining for our first dance and our possible song selections. Lisa asked us about our dance experience and showed us some initial dance moves to get a feel for how we would learn and what type of dance would work best for us. After our initial session with her, she started choreographing our dance, and after that we spent the next few weeks having a lot of fun, learning about dancing and working to perfect our moves. Our routine was exactly the right amount of difficulty -- a little bit challenging but totally doable for us with a few weeks of practice with her, and the best part was it was entirely unique to us! Lisa was a lot of fun to work with throughout the process, and her positive attitude was awesome. When there were parts of our routine that we weren't comfortable with or wanted to change, she was very open to hearing us and helping us find another way to make our dance perfect for us. Not only did we have the perfect dance for our first dance together, but we also had her choreograph a group dance for us and our wedding party to perform together to kick off the dancing at our wedding. It was quick to learn, and we taught it to our wedding party ourselves. It was a big hit and so much fun on wedding day! We have been to a few dance studio but this is the best studio by far. This is not only fun for the little ones but at the same time they will get the technique training. My current review is a reiteration of the high quality dance training provided by Miss Malorie and her staff, and the encouragement and development of each child who goes to the studio to find his/her inner dancer, whether that dancer takes a couple of classes a week for exercise and personal development, or goes on to train and compete on the competition team. Dancers compete in competitions, attend dance conventions, and have opportunities to perform at various venues. Both of my girls have learned and grown so much over the past few years at CCPA. My older one dances successfully both on her high school dance team and on the CCPA team; the younger one is establishing her skills and self-confidence as she heads toward middle school in her final year in elementary school. This is an excellent dance studio with a high return in value. We have been with CCPA for 7 years and I can't recommend it enough!
