Often, I have to call them of a concern/question with my miniature golden doodle, if it's a non-emergency question, they ask the Vet and get back with me that day, avoiding a trip into the office. I even texted a picture several different times, with a question to give them more detail to my concern and they quickly ease my fears with expert advice and assessment relayed from the doc. The entire staff and docs treat your dogs/animals as if they are family & give excellent care! I know my lil' Murphie is well taken care of as their patient :)

So I decided to look for another local vet office. I found Rainbow. We Just had our first appt. The front desk seemed a little stressed, but still got the job done and were very friendly and helpful upon checkout. Katie was so kind and amazing with Ralphie as was Dr. Arnet. I booked 4 more appts before leaving. I'm so happy I found Rainbow!

After payment and while preparing to leave, I was informed the surgery had gone badly, my cat had not been properly monitored, and emergency care would now be required. He was brought out visibly distressed, his lower body covered in blood, without pain medication. Jeff (the main manager) said this was because they don't check on cats after surgery. This was a deeply traumatic and avoidable situation. The lack of transparency and accountability was alarming. Since then, I've heard consistent warnings from others about this clinic claiming their pet went through a very similar situation. I'm sharing this in hopes others seriously consider the risk this clinic poses to the safety of our animals.

My wife brought our dogs in this morning for routine vaccinations, expecting a standard, respectful visit. Instead, she was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude from Dr. Troy Smith. When discussing our dog's condition and long-term care, he reportedly responded in a sarcastic and flippant manner, saying "that won't be long," which is completely inappropriate given the seriousness of the situation. What's more concerning is that my wife had to request a different veterinarian multiple times before her concerns were taken seriously. No client should have to advocate that hard just to feel comfortable during a medical appointment for their pet. Even after being asked to step away, Dr. Smith re-entered the room later in the visit. When my wife politely asked him to leave due to the discomfort already caused, he reportedly laughed and dismissed the situation under the guise of "trying to apologize." That kind of response only made matters worse and showed a lack of awareness and professionalism. We've been clients of this clinic for years, and while the service has often been underwhelming, today's experience crossed a line. Veterinary care requires not just medical competence, but empathy, communication, and respect--especially when discussing serious or lifelong conditions. Unfortunately, this visit has caused us to reconsider continuing care at this clinic.

The day camp has taught our newest puppy, a rescue, how to get along and play with others. In the beginning she didn't want to be there, now is so excited to go. I could probably recite his sales pitch for the overpriced fish oil as I hear it every time I go in. I felt my concerns were dismissed and constantly talked over. I went to west Wichita for several years with the same concerns, was told he had thyroid issues, he was on thyroid meds for a while. I complained about the effects and was told they were just going to lower the dose. No other tests were done or even offered to determine if it wasn't a thyroid issue, Dr Gregg knew right away it was thyroid issues, he sees it all the time!! "You'll have a brand new dog in no time!!" no he was going downhill. After one appointment at Indian Hills, they knew it was cushings because they LISTENED TO WHAT I WAS SAYING and did the proper tests. It was not thyroid issues, it was Cushing disease the whole time and my dog died due to complications because of that after a surgery. Couldn't even get his records from west Wichita vet as I needed to pay a record release fee and "Dr needs to review the records and idk when that will be and you have to pick them up in person but idk when theyll be ready" as I'm actively in an emergency appointment with my pet and they refuse to fax them. Making you jump through hoops to get YOUR pets medical records. Come here if all that sounds worth your money and time! I regret giving them any of my money as if the proper tests and care were given from the beginning my boy might still be here. Go to Indian Hills. Best service and very educated vets that do things the correct way and show actual GOOD and HONEST medical practices. It's cleaner, nicer and cheaper! All the vets deeply care about all animals and have a great sense of compassion and work ethic. West Wichita vet clinic treated the vets at Indian hills who were helping through this with such disrespect and so much attitude. TERRIBLE. Just read all these bad reviews, it's horrific!

Walked in with a dying dog, crying, and was shouted at by a vet tech. Apparently we had gotten…read moremixed up and walked into the wrong clinic. Instead of addressing the issue courteously and with professionalism and compassion, this tech actually yelled at us: "She isn't in! The vet isn't in! There is no one here to help you!" I have never experienced such callousness at a veterinary clinic before. I don't understand why they didn't behave like caring human beings when faced with someone in the position of having to euthanize a pet after a traumatic injury. We have had our bigger dog seen at this clinic, the vet was wonderful, the customer service at the clinic however was poor enough on this day that we feel compelled to leave a review.

When I left Lola, I felt completely reassured that my pup would be treated like one of Gloria's own. Lola was supplied with a dog bed since I forgot to bring hers. She had plenty of toys to play with in her pen and outside in the turf area! When I returned to get Lola she was so happy and hardly wanted to leave Gloria's side! I HIGHLY recommended this faculty for all of your pet boarding needs!
