They obviously knew the market very well and the staging was INCREDIBLE and instrumental in the quick sale of our house. Happy with the counsel/advice we received and the fantastic service. While Cari Ann Carter Group is at a slightly higher % for realtor fees, worth it just for the staging and high touch service. UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er! She had 2 contractors out within 12 hours of walking the property to help us with the logistics of design, finding a contractor, etc. You want her and her amazing team on your side when you're buying or selling!

Will never use or recommend Cari Ann Carter again! WORST experience ever!!

I've worked with Peggy as both a buyer and a seller. The common thread in both of those experiences…read morewas that she consistently made the entire process feel effortless -- and that by itself is enough of a reason for me to refer to her as a "rare gem of an agent". But the reasons don't stop there: She's high-energy and very motivated, she's incredibly organized, and she has amassed a solid pool of resources to pull from for a variety of situations related to both buying and selling. Her communication is second-to-none and her follow-up is near immediate. (I'm not even sure how she does it!) In my opinion communication and follow-up are vital in real estate because the decisions you make and the time it takes you to make those decisions can make or break a deal, and there's hundreds of thousands, or millions of dollars at stake. Not everyone I've worked with in the past understood that, but Peggy does. Most recently we worked together while I was selling a single family home. I would describe her approach as methodical and surgical. So many agents I've worked with in the past will simply throw everything against the wall and see what sticks, but Peggy really spends time crafting an approach for your listing; taking into account overall market conditions, your location, the kind of potential buyers you'll be getting, what holidays are coming up, etc. She'll give you an honest assessment of your situation and she'll work hard to deliver an awesome deal quickly. She was just fantastic! To put it simply: after working with Peggy and getting to know her, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend her to anyone needing a rare gem of an agent; and if you're buying or selling real estate, that's exactly what you need.

We didn't have a ton of money to spend and I know that means not a lot of pay from a realtor stand point. Who would want to work with us? Well Erica was the perfect match! She offered no stress showings. Not once did I feel like I HAD to purchase a home and not once did I feel like I was being pushed to spend more money than I wanted. She was flexible with when she would allow us to look at home and when she was able to answer questions. I feel like even though we were looking at small prices homes we got a large price realtor. We ended up being able to look at a couple of homes one day as a sort of pre market option (the market in the twin cities is really going crazy right now and homes are selling fast). Of these two homes we were the only ones to view them and they were both amazing. It went from having no options to having to choose between two very quickly. We purchased one of those homes and are loving every minute of it. Highly recommend Erica!

While working with us, she served on the local realtor's ethics board and nourished active relationships with pet shelters. So, if someone was interested in buying the house, they could reach out to Karen and if they wanted to adopt the dog, then they would reach out to the partnering shelter organization. Her background on ethics was highly important to me because our experience was not a good one when we bought the house. That time, we barely saw that realtor and was passed around to other team members. With Karen, though we interacted with others, it always felt complementary to the work she was doing with us. Fulton Realty is an untrustworthy company from the top down. They will take advantage of you as a…read morebuyer if given the opportunity. I worked with Nicole Battle as my realtor. She showed me one house that she highly recommended as her coworker was the person who renovated it and was selling it. It turns out it was a flip, and Shelbie Walsh did the renovations herself with the help of a handyman. It must have been Shelbie Walsh's first flip because nothing was done correctly. Throughout the buying process, Nicole Battle strongly encouraged me not to get an inspection because she was confident Shelbie Walsh did a great job rehabbing the house. I trusted Nicole Battle and Fulton Realty and felt that since they all worked together, they had my best interest in mind and understood that I was looking for an investment property to grow my portfolio. Nicole Battle and I never had a meeting to review the paperwork; I had to do this myself as an inexperienced buyer. After I closed, I noticed countless things wrong with the house. Shelbie Walsh did not install lighting fixtures and appliances correctly. Electrical hazards were apparent throughout the house and basement. The first-floor bathroom flooded within the first week. Floorboards were missing; there were defects in the ceiling and drywall. They lied about the number of bedrooms as one area was a passthrough and should not be counted as a bedroom. I could go on ... After living in the house for the first week, I realized I needed to get a post-sale inspection. The post-sale inspection raised additional issues that I was unaware of. The inspector raised 12 urgent issues I needed to resolve ASAP. Shelbie Walsh lied on the documents and stated things like an air conditioner would be left in the house, but it never was. All appliances were expected to be in working order, but the drying machine never worked. I raised these concerns to Fulton Realty and its owner Eric Eickhof (I believe he and Shelbie Walsh worked together on the seller's end as he was listed as representing the seller on Zillow). Eric Eickhof and Nicole Battle came by the house to have a look, and Eric Eickhof berated me after the meeting and told me they would not help resolve any of the issues raised. I called an appliance repair specialist. When they took apart the dryer, they were shocked to see that all of the wires were burnt and recommended that I purchase a new machine. This is just one example; I had to repair multiple appliances throughout the house. As a buyer, I expected to receive representation, but the team at Fulton worked together to put me in the worst possible position by not disclosing important information and encouraging me not to seek an inspection. I would not have purchased the house if I had the information provided in the inspection in advance of closing. Simply put, I overpaid for the house and had to spend tens of thousands of dollars resolving defects and buying new appliances. Besides the financial impact, my mental health plummeted while living in the house. My quality of life and outlook was bleak. Fortunately, I was able to sell the house 11 months later. I'm not sure if it's a lack of experience, negligence, or incompetence, but Fulton Realty is not a company I recommend trusting with one of the most important decisions you'll make.
