Nice place, Dont visit on a Friday they have league tournaments and no visible signs to alert customers who are not from the area. I drove 30 only to be informed no lanes were available due to league tournament. Tall man was very rude. However they do have good food and drinks. Very nice lady fixing spirits! read more

My experience here was absolutely unacceptable. I bowl here weekly and have never encountered anything like what happened last night. "Doug" should be terminated immediately. I was told he's a relative of someone--so what? That doesn't excuse his behavior or lack of professionalism. My order was completely wrong and even contained items I'm allergic to. I specifically said Ranch only--nothing else--and confirmed it with people standing near me. It was even written on the ticket. When I brought it up, Doug was extremely rude, refused to apologize, blamed me for eating it, and threw the receipt on the table. He actually walked all the way from the bowling desk to lanes 3/4 just to throw the receipt marked "Ranch Only." He accused me of lying because I had eaten part of the wrap. I only continued eating because the tomatoes were hidden in the middle and not visible until halfway through. I suffered an allergic reaction as a result--if needed, I'm happy to provide photos of the sores that developed. Additionally, the food handling practices are appalling. Staff were touching money and food without washing their hands--clear cross-contamination. I've already reached out to the food inspector because this needs to be addressed. Considering the critical failures noted on your last inspection, I would have expected better oversight by now. If you have any food allergies, I strongly advise against eating here. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and accountability is completely unacceptable. I hope management takes this incident seriously, removes Doug from the staff, and enforces proper hygiene and customer service standards so no one else has to experience this. read more

Let's start off with the positive: Tangi Lanes was busy and had a good vibe for an afternoon of bowling. The not so positive: our group experienced worn out rental shoes (seriously, they need to be replaced...several of us commented how poor the shoes were.) The employee working the desk seemed not too happy to be there today. Cmon, you are in the entertainment business...work for the government if you truly hate your job. read more

Had half the lights off, could not see marks on lanes for aiming. Not Good! Why were they off?

I am visiting friends and family here in Hammond and Albany area. We decided to meet for some bowling and it was so much fun. The Bowling alley was easy to find with plenty of parking. It was clean with a great snack bar the family loved the pizza and fries and chicken wings. Bowling prices where reasonable and and we had excellent friendly service from Snack bar as well as check in station. They play music and and have a Bar and over all I am looking forward to revisiting again read more

Very nice bowling alley. We were there on a Sunday For travel league youth bowling. Snack bar had lots to offer. Game room with lots of arcade games. Pro shop was opened after noon. read more

3:04 on a Tuesday afternoon. Rudest individual behind the counter. I paid for a lane for two bowlers and asked for a size 14.5 for my grandson. She comes back with some shoes that were extremely worn, I asked her politely if there were others that size . (As she was looking for another pair my dad said she liked like she could care less about her job.) She returned with a size 16 pair. I let her know they were the wrong size and asked for another pair and she informed me that I asked for a size 15.5. I told her that was not what I said and she insisted very rudely that it was. Are you serious? I understand it's noisy in here but do you talk to a paying customer like that? Rather than voice my anger with her, I turned to my grandson to let him know to tell her his size. Because I turned away from her she says, "well I'm gonna return your money." Again, pretty ignorant customer service. And then when we're walking away from the desk she starts talking about "these people " to her co-worker behind the desk. If I were not here with my family who I've driven 800 miles to visit, I'd have had some words with the manager. Way to ruin a family outing. This place has some crappy reviews. My husband and I brought our niece and nephew here and it was a horrible experience. To start off, this photo booth and the workers here pissed me off. I put a $20 bill inside the machine on the inside and it didn't give me change back. So I ask the employees and they inform me it's posted inside the booth, that it doesn't give change. So I go look at the machine and it's ONLY POSTED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE MACHINE. I inform them that it needs to be posted on the inside because the only thing it says on the inside is that it accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. That is misleading. So I am to blame that I didn't do a full walk around of the photo booth before getting in??? We do the bowling package with pizza and the price is great! It's difficult to pick out / find bowling balls. They had a low selection. I can't imagine how they have bowling balls left after the lanes are filled. Then the arcade isn't that big, prices on games are pretty much all a $1. Afterwards, we went to cash in the tickets and had 164 tickets. Well, the teenager acted like he could care less about my 6 year old niece and 10 year old nephew and how excited they are and this guys stink ass attitude made it hard. I'm already upset with the dude and then he has the audacity to tell me that they are out of tickets after they get a 30 ticket and a 35 item. I correct him and told him we had more than that and he told us to give him back their two toys. He acted like it was an inconvenience to do his job. I am overall disappointed with this place and will never be back. read more

This is my favorite bowling alley! That being said... the last time I visited, I brought out of town family. I wanted to show them my favorite bowling spot. Unfortunately, the workers behind the counter were rude to us. This shocked me since I've been going here since 2009 without an issue. Hopefully, they work on their customer service a little bit. Specifically- the man behind the main counter to pay for lanes. I still plan to give this bowling alley my business, but will discontinue if this poor customer service continues to be the new normal. On another note, this bowling alley has the best pro-shop! I would highly recommend the pro-shop! They are so polite and are really great people. I've bought all my bowling balls and gear from them. Their dedication to their customers is super! read more

This is our bowling lane of choice on the Northshore even though we live a half-mile from Tiffany Lanes in Mandeville. You know why? Tangi Lanes has kids' bowling ramps! Tiffany Lanes does not (or at least did not the last and only time we have visited). For this reason, we choose Tangi Lanes. True, it is not the nicest (but nicer than Tiffany Lanes), but you are there to bowl. Has everything we need. Service at the front desk can be slow, as the reps seem to be working numerous areas at once. So just be aware of that. Otherwise, this place is great for our family. Recommended. read more

Pathetic!! Checked hours in website and Facebook. Called to confirm hours of operations. All said yes we're open Sunday. Drive 30 minutes to get there and am told no lanes will be open today because they're have a private party. Really? You can't put that on FB, your website or even have a sign on the door? Instead the big flashing "open" sign is bright as Christmas yet they're turning people away. Had that date planned for 2 weeks. Very annoying. If you're closing the place let people know. We could have gone to Mccomb or Baton Rouge. read more

Horrible service. Waited an hr for a bowling lane and went to the register to see what the problem was, the girl said she called our name 3 times and so she crossed our names off the list. Not true, 4 ppl in my party all waiting to hear our names called and we never did. Will never visit this bowling lane again read more

My only problem with Tangi is they ripped all the beautiful pine and maple wood lanes out...and put in synthetic! What a shame. The pro shop is ace in every way. It is well stocked, and the employees seem to know what they are doing...they are OK. Never went in the bar, so have no response on that. Much rather bowl at Tangi than at Tiffany or that place in Slidell. read more

Totally careless and rude. When brought to the attention of the lady working at the counter, she said "ok" then walked away mad continued doing what she was doing. Whether you agree or not, you always at least PRETEND to care about the customers. The guy at the bar was rude and acted like we annoyed him when we went to get beer. Never going back.
