Omg.... Where to start. I literally just left my eyelash appointment and I'm horrified. I came here because my usual lash girl is booked up for the next 2 weeks and my eyelashes were very spotty so I couldn't wait. I came here because it was highly recommended on FB. Wow. Just wow. First she told me she had to take my old lashes off. I was confused but said okay. The stuff she put on my eyelashes broke all of them off and burned like crazy. I said something about it but she said it was because I was used to them being long. No. It burned my lashes off almost down to the skin. So l laid there and let her do my lashes. I could smell the glue and I thought that was strange because I have never smelled it before. After 15 min of laying there she said I was done with a full set. My full sets have always taken over an hour. I sat up and looked in the mirror was immediately horrified. She used all fans on my eyes and glued some to my skin!! The lashes used are not quality at all. They feel like plastic and look like they came from Temu. so now I'm having to contact my lash person and beg her to work me in today to take these atrocities off my face and put new ones on. Also to mention this place was disgustingly dirty. read more

When I worked in Sarasota, I went to a tanning salon that always exceeded my expectations . Since selling my business two years ago I've been driving all the way to that Beneva and Bee Ridge area from Parrish because there arent really good , clean places out there. My daughter recommended this salon as she is a new customer and so glad she did. The owner Jodi, is very personable and conversational. They have the best display of lotions that I have seen at any salon ((even the one that had me as a customer for 6 years) They have reasonable packages that never expire or you can buy by the month. I was shown how to use machine . Tbe decor is very glitzy and very clean. My only suggestion would be to use a fragrance free soap or fragrance free softeners. I put the towel over my face when I tan and it was very strong perfume smell. Im.glad the towels are clean smelling but for someone sensitive to fragrances could find it uncomfortable they use the towel for that purpose. Otherwise very happy with my visit and will return as I purchased a package. read more

The girl working had no shoes on which is disgusting and kept dropping the f bomb. They were talking down about people in the restaurant business the entire time, which is funny considering these people can't even wear shoes to work. I do not at all suggest this place. Absolutely disgusting, they'll overcharge you, and do a terrible job. Weird that apparently all the bad reviews are fake and from people who have never been into the business. I suggest the nail shoppe near by, much better results and the employees have basic manners. Going here runs the risk for all kinds of diseases from bare footed day drinkers. read more

Love Jody and her tanning store!! She is so nice and helpful and the tanning beds are always clean. The store is made up for halloween right now and so well done and there is a large bucket of candy for your sweet halloween tooth for before and after you partake of the tanning process. I got the membership so I am set for fall and winter. read more

I am a spray tan regular at other salons. But, my normal place was closed so I tried Tanoholics out. The airbrush person was way to close as she sprayed causing pooling and drip marks. They will tell you the drip marks will wash out but they don't. Please don't waste your money. read more

I had a relationship with this tanning salon for some time. It seemed shady that when I upgraded my membership that billed on the 15th of the month to the next level up, they suddenly billed me the first of the month, which made me lose 15 days of tanning I paid for. I also started using them for lash extensions, they seemed like a good deal. I was kind of taken back when I found the owners/lash girl drinking on the job bc she and her mom had a "rough day." I should have left right there. After much consideration and a year of extensions and constant appointments, I decided to give my eyes a break. As my extensions came off I realized what poor quality they were. I had some extensions glued to 3 of my own lashes!!! When I realized how damaged my naturally long and thick lashes were, I made a decision to cancel my membership and an appointment I set it in the future to have a new full set put on. When I gave them notice, in writing, they tried to charge my credit card multiple times for tanning and lash extensions!! I am furious! Stay away from Tanaholics!! read more

The first thing that made me feel like hag was the right place was David's actual knowledge about tanning and how to achieve the color you are looking for either in a bed, a spray and with the right lotions. I'm naturally fair and a tan helps me not burn in the bright and beautiful Florida sunshine and maintain a healthy glow. It's more than tanning here. There's red light therapy which is an FDA approved skincare to reduce fine lines and whatnot. There's some others but I'm there for the multiple levels of tanning bed. David helps you know which level bed to go into every day or every other day or every several days to get tan not red. He knows what lotion to use to get the color you want, and dependent on the level or time and patience you have to apply it before getting into the tanning bed. If you're going to tan you should be tanning here. This is the first time I haven't had to tan 5 times a week every week to be the shade I want to be.

First spray tan was not good but better after shower so I let it go and tried to be nice saying it was good. Second spray was horrible. Could not go out of house for an entire day - they said it was normal. Third and last chance even worse. I mean the sprays are a disaster. I have pics to prove it. really bad streaks and blotches and horrible color. Three different people did it and all bad. Canceled and they charged me 100 dollars to cancel. This was the breaking point. I didn't cancel because I wanted to I canceled because the sprays are horrible. No charge should have been added. Disputed the charge , they faught it and still charged me 100 dollars PLUS they keep taking money out of my acct every month even after 3 months after canceling!!!! DO NOT GO here ! read more

I have been tanning a Tanaholics since the very first day they opened. The salon is very clean and super cute. Ryann and Jodi are my favorites. They are super sweet and very accommodating. Ryann does my eyelashes and I get constant compliments. They have A wide range of lotions and after tan moisturizers as well. Their hours are the best out of all salons in my opinion. I love that they open early enough for me to tan before work. Jodi had even stayed open late for me on when I was running late! Highly recommend. read more

I take both my 8 year old and 13 year old for spray tans at Tanaholics a dozen plus times a year before cheer competitions and Tanaholics is by far the best in the area!!! It's a trust the process moment from once you get the spray, but let that spray soak in over night, and shower in the morning and it leaves the best, non-orange, non-smelly, no-streak tan behind that last minimum of 2 weeks!!! I have been coming to this salon for over a year now. Always good energy.! The beds are clean and top quality. The workers also had a lot of knowledge on products and which lotions to choose from. I also received eyelash extensions and they last me three weeks or more before I need a fill. I would highly recommend Tanaholics to anyone read more
