Never judge a book by its cover! I would like to start by saying that Tanning Oasis is a great place to tan. They are affordable and the VIP packs are the best way to go, and upgrades are within reason. The owners are great too and have always taken care of me. Now, today is Christmas Eve. I called earlier to see if they were open and what time they closed, I also said that I wanted to get a spray tan so I was glad, they said they closed at 3. In between last minute things I hurried to make it in time. I got there at 245 and was told that I couldn't spray tan, the machine was down for maintenance. I was clearly confused because if it closes 30 minutes before why didn't they tell me 230 when I called? Why isn't that posted anywhere? Anyways, I was frustrated and all I got was an, "I'm sorry", followed with a complimentary eye roll. I did reply, "no you're not" and proceeded to my bed. Funny thing is, I wasn't going to tan today, especially that late, because it is Christmas. However, after that display I did tan, and they ended up not getting out of there until 3:15. Anyways, I was bummed but went to my room, #4, it was at that time that I overheard the two ladies talking about the situation, ending it with "it's Christmas, be nice!" Well ya know, it is Christmas and I am sorry that you have to work, but my guess is, you're getting paid. Right? I just signed up for VIP, bought a lotion, and tried to pay for an upgrade today. I think customers like me are the very reason that you have a job. If you're made you're working on Christmas Eve, find a job that isn't retail. That said, it's Christmas, I too have things to do but I wanted to use the services that I pay for, during your business hours, and i ended up inconveniencing your schedule. If you want to talk about someone, especially someone who is paying for services that out food on your table, I suggest you do it behind closed doors.

We went in a few months ago and they said she had to be 13 (she was just a couple of days away) but the girl was super sweet and we understood. Fast forward a few months and we go back. The girl working (brianna) says "does she have an id?" I said no, she's 13. She said "oh is that the age she can do a spray tan? I'd have to check...what about a school ID?" I said "well a school ID wouldn't have her age, and the girl last time said she could tan when she turned 13". She said "you need to bring her BIRTH CERTIFICATE..."To get a spray tan? Are you kidding me? Also the fact that she wasn't even sure what age she needed to be and said she had to check with her manager but then never did.... Their new machine sprays only the front and back of you. It looks awful. My sides are white along with my inner thighs. Its just awful. I'm so glad its winter and I could wear long sleeves so people couldn't see the white lines running down my arms and legs! Seriously, I would not spray tan at this location. I'll try and find out if the other spray machines are available at another location and update this to let you know. Everything else is good though. I read other reviews that mentioned they were very pushy selling products. I did not have this problem.

The girl also said the wait time would be 30 minutes, she got my friend into a room after 10 minutes and ignored me afterwords. Insanely annoyed.
