I wanted to get a perm on my very long hair. I had not cut it since 2012 when I retired. Needless to say I didn't do much with it either. Frankly it was in Very bad condition and I hated it. I had promised my husband when I retired I would let it grow, and so I did. If I tried to curl it withing 10 minutes it was straight again. So I thought maybe a perm would help. So I went to see Debbie. The poor girl spent hours rolling my hair. (look at the picture she has posted) Once done it was better, but it was so heavy it still pulled a lot of the curl out. I still hated it. I finally convinced my husband that it would look better if I had some of it cut. He agreed. However since Debbie had worked so hard and stressed out so much, I was hesitant to call her I didn't want to hurt her feelings. It wasn't her fault I didn't like my hair. She did everything right. A couple of weeks went by and Debbie called me to check up and see how I was liking my perm. (In over 50 years I have never had a hair dresser call me just to see how I liked what they had done) I admitted I didn't like like it and wanted to get it cut shorter. She was very OK with that so I made another appointment with her. I am so happy I did. I now love my hair again. It is so easy to care for and always looks great.
