Tamika and Scott were great during the recent sale of our home. They were incredibly responsive and supportive. It was an emotional roller coaster for my husband and I and they made the process as smooth as it could have been. Scott surrendered his Saturdays and Sundays for nearly 2 months to show off our home and provided detailed feedback after each open house which was very helpful. We had used Tamika and Red Bow previously to purchase our home and we would use them again! read more

In November we decided to reach out to Tamika, whom we knew to be a passionate realtor. She worked with us and prepared us unlike any realtor we had ever worked with before. She seamlessly guided us from pre-approval to closing and connected us to trusted experts in their respective fields. From lending to inspections and everything in between, Tamika and her team made the process so very easy! Working with Tamika was an absolute joy. She caught the vision we had for our family. Her excitement and passion spurred us to expand our dreams as we secured the keys for a beautiful family estate. read more

Just a few weeks ago we closed on our first home in San Jose and Tamika is the one that made it happen! She is the definition of hustle. We started our search, found our current home in less than a month, and closed the home in another month. From start to finish it took less than 2 months. On top of that, in a market where paying 3% above listing price is normal she was able to secure us a deal $15,000 below listing price. Not only was she incredibly communicative throughout the process but walked us through every single step. Not only did she advocate for us when working with the lender and other third parties but also set our expectations as we were searching for a home. If we were to purchase another home we would go with Tamika without a doubt! I'd highly encourage anyone looking to purchase a home to reach out to Tamika! read more

Tamika Ellsworth- Red Bow Magic - the day we received our keys :) - Real Estate Agents Near Me - San Jose, California

It was our pleasure using Tamika and Red Bow Magic's services. Tamika helped us both buy and sell our condo over the past couple years, and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful realtor. When selling our condo, she helped give us a good timeline on when to place the condo on the market, and how long to expect it to sell. She also helped us list is at a very good price that had room to adjust based on the market conditions. Once an offer was placed on the table, she helped us navigate the plethora of issues that arose on the buyer's side. I think what stands out with Tamika is two things: 1. How she advocates for you. Negotiating during both the buying and selling process can be nerve racking, but it's amazing to know that she will advocate for her clients first. 2. How she helps manage expectations. We personally loved how well Tamika help set expectations, but also left room for what could feel impossible. I have already recommended Red Bow Magic to multiple friends and family, and have seen a few get homes as a result. Looking forward to our next home purchase (our dream home), as I know Red Bow Magic will be a part of the journey. read more

We absolutely loved working with Tamika and highly highly recommend her for your next home buying adventure! Tamika made the whole home buying process enjoyable and smooth. She reminded us to be excited through the waiting, and each time we found a home we liked, she provided her honest and expert advice and guidance. Tamika's background and vision for home buying was inspiring and it definitely helped us to know and feel that we were in good hands. She was extremely communicative and always made sure to do her best to put us in the favor of the selling agent/party. Tamika's kindness and hardworking nature made her wonderful to work with as clients, but also gave us the confidence that she had the favor of the selling agent/party and was representing us well. read more

The awesome team of Tamika and Scott is a dream team. They are both amazingly kind, focused, perceptive and smart realtors who are very attentive to their clients. We had a challenging sale due to our elder having short term memory loss and rapidly declining health who needed to transition to assisted living asap. Scott and Tamika of Redbow worked hand in hand with us to walk us thru uncharted territory. They were very respectful to our elder and patient with the process. Both Tamika and Scott were strategic is the pricing of the home which worked to the new buyer's, and our benefit. I trusted their judgment in the knowledge of the neighborhood and county trends. I highly recommend them to represent your real estate needs. They are both very honest and kind, two necessary attributes to build trust. Hire them!!!! read more

If you need to buy a home or a condo anywhere in the Bay Area, please contact Tamika Ellsworth. Tamika was so wonderful and helped me buy my first home in one of the most expensive cities in the world - San Francisco. I heard of Tamika's Real State business through a podcast, where I found out that she had helped people I know in my community. Since the initial stages of searching for a home, Tamika was very professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, honest, and diligent. She listened to what I needed and guided me to what could be possible within my budget. Also, she provided an overview of homebuying, including different types of contingencies and home loans. She also provided insights into the extra expenses I might incur once I decide on a home. This is something I truly appreciated because she also educated me in the process. The process of buying a home is not easy, and even though I was doing this by myself, I did not feel alone in the process. You want to have a good team on your side, you want Tamika on your side! I thought buying a home in San Francisco was impossible for me, but she and her team helped me along the way. I recently closed on sale of my Oakland condo, thanks to Tamika's upbeat, straightforward guidance. The repair consortium she had suggested took care of all needed upgrades, my cost resulting in a significantly increased asking price (which was exceeded in the three offers I received). I trusted her counsel throughout the entire selling process -- from market insights and practical suggestions to prompt communication, good news or bad. She really kept me going when I was discouraged because I'd found I could trust her assessment of problems. If you want your real estate transaction to be handled efficiently by a clear thinker and speaker of high integrity, Tamika and team are the way to go. Buying and selling a home is not for the fainthearted. The entire process is a beast and requires not only industry knowledge but incredible wisdom -- and Tamika has got this and so much more. Simple put, she is a boss. In our experience, she not only had wisdom and experience in the SF Bay Area real estate market, she has an incredible reputation and rapport with her peers. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was purchasing my first home. Tamika went above and beyond anything I could ever have asked for. We started to work with Tamika back in 2015. But life happened and we were no longer able to look to purchase a home at that time. Tamika was beyond understanding. She was human about it. We told her we would reach out to her when we were ready and she respected that. She didn't call or push us to start looking with her. We did run into her a few times (San Jose is a big little city) and she just said she was there for us when we were ready. And we appreciated that. Fast forward, 4 years later and another child later, we were ready to look for a place to call home. We told Tamika what we wanted. She was honest with us and told us what the market was like. We decided to keep our hopes up and see what happens. From open houses to making offers to vetting homes to the 101 questions I had as a first time buyer, Tamika was there. Responding. Active. Reaching out to people for answers to my crazy questions. And she was on top of everything. We found the home we loved and Tamika was on it. She told us exactly what she needed from us and next thing we knew, we were buying our home. Things went by so fast and again, Tamika was on top of it all. She made sure we understood everything we were signing and ensured we felt completely comfortable with everything that was going on. She is truly amazing. She knows this world like the back of her hand. She's respectful and honest and proud and friendly. I'd definitely recommend her (I already have to a few folks) any day / any time. She's the best of the best! read more

Tamika was a god send! We had moved to South Lake Tahoe during Covid and made a life changing decision to sell our family home of 20 years in Mountain View. We basically cleared out our MV home and headed back to Tahoe. Tamika took care of the rest. She cleared out our enormous pile of junk in the backyard, cleaned, painted, repaired, landscaped front and backyard and staged the home beautifully! She kept constant communication through out every step of the process. Every question I had was answered within minutes. Tamika's confidence, patience and endless amount of positive energy picked me up whenever I started to worry. Tamika went above and beyond to make it a smooth life transition for my family. I am forever grateful to have met her! read more

I can't express enough how amazing Tamika is. We went through almost every single scenario you can think of as a home buyer and each time Tamika helped us reset expectations and move forward with positivity. The market is ever changing and due to COVID we saw the changes real time happening from week to week. Tamika predicted it all. She knew what was to come and helped understand where we stood in the market with our price point (where we may be able to flex and where we could hold strong). The house buying game is not joke! There are literally no rules yet she is able to move her way through all the roadblocks, twists and turns so seamlessly. We never would have thought that we would be able to buy a home in the current community we are in but with Tamika in our corner, we are now able to live a dream! On a more personal note, we had a situation where the seller was not out of the house on the day they were supposed to be. Tamika went above and beyond by ensuring that when myself and my family walked in - we saw a beautiful house we would call home. I can't thank you her enough. read more

Tamika Ellsworth is truly one of a kind. When we decided our next move was to buy our first home in the Bay Area we were both determined and intimidated by the whole process. My husband and I knew it would be a long shot to actually find a realtor that would understand us, take care of us, teach us, and be trustworthy. Well, I had to look no further than Tamika. We were referred by our good friend Tory, and he simply said, just give her a call, you won't be disappointed. The rest is history! She helped us find the first home of our dreams with our limited funds and she even went further out of her regular territory to meet our needs. She showed us a plethora of different styles, neighborhoods, and price ranges within our budget. She knew we needed to see it all to make a confident decision. I couldn't be more thankful for that. Her confidence made us confident. She made everything so seamless and didn't ever let us know the messy behind the scenes action that can happen between realtors and companies. She kept us extremely informed while still keeping us calm and motivated. She was always quick to respond, reply, reach out and take care of whatever was the most urgent matter. She worked with our hectic schedules and made it happen for us. From the first day we met her to closing it took all of 7 weeks. She's extremely talented and experienced in her field, and strives to understand her clients' needs and balance it with their wants. I never thought I'd be able to say that at the ages of 29 and 30, my husband and I would be able to purchase our first home for our two sons and still live in the Bay Area. She did that. She made it happen. Thank you Tamika for being you. read more

Tamika Ellsworth- Red Bow Magic - Tamika made our dreams come true with our first home!! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - San Jose, California

Tamika is AMAZING! She helped list and sell our old home in order to purchase our new home. She knew that we needed to net a certain amount for us to move forward. With that, she advised that if we did not net the amount needed for our down payment, then we could wait until the market was better. She never once pressured us to sell our home and we really appreciated her honesty and professionalism. Tamika helped us every step of the way--from de cluttering our home to the professional staging, the open house, and dealing with the HOA. We only did one weekend of open house and received multiple offers within a few days. Tamika became our best friend during this time period and we really enjoyed working with her. read more

We can not recommend Tamika enough! My husband and I came to Tamika with very set specifics in what we would like for our first home and not with the most time to do so. We had been praying to own a 3 bed/2 bath home in Oakland in August so we could be settled before we got married in September. We had looked at homes earlier in the day and met with Tamika for the first time later in the afternoon. I will never forget how I had just come back from the restroom and she was already on the phone with the selling realtor. That evening she really walked us through the details of home buying and educated us on contingencies, time frames, and the market. All the while, encouraging us in our faith that this is possible! This woman is doer! From attending her "faith in home buying" course to having our offer accepted was 2 weeks!! In addition, we had keys in hand less than 4 weeks after that, even through an FHA loan! She advocated for us constantly, assuring that each repair was made and each certificate provided. We appreciated her eye for detail and timely fashion. She is confident and warm. Thank you Tamika for being a part of our testimony as this 25 and 26 year old engaged couple had their prayers answers by becoming home owners in the Bay Area. God is so good and so faithful and we appreciate you role in our story. read more

My husband and I are first time home buyers and we couldn't be more happy to have had Tamika as our real estate agent. It was a match made in heaven. Being first time home buyers is a roller coaster of emotions especially in a sellers market trying to buy in San Jose, but Tamika made the process more than just bearable but a fun learning experience. She's caring, kind, and approachable, and very professional. She's great at what she does! We were able to close in 21 days on only our third offer, and became home owners on July 25th, 2016. We are so happy that we did not get the first two places we offered because our home is PERFECT for us, and we couldn't and wouldn't be living in it right now if it weren't for Tamika and her wonderful team at EQ1. Thank you so much for holding our hands through this whole process and finding our home for us. read more

Buying a home in the Bay Area is overwhelming at best but our real estate agent, Tamika made it happen! She worked with us every step of the way, answering all of the small questions that first-time homeowners have, like 'what are our chances of buying this home when there are 30 other couples at the same open house?' As well as the big questions, like 'do we sign with our without contingencies?'. She knew the Bay Area really well, so when our first offer didn't pan out she knew other neighborhoods and areas that we hadn't even considered - a major bonus in competitive markets like the Bay! In the four months (from when we decided to start looking) that we worked with Tamika we found her to be kind, diligent and focused. More than that though, she became our friend and we're grateful to have found her. read more

We were looking to buy our first home and my co-worker recommended Tamika. He had used her services twice and talked about what a great job she did in buying and selling his home in the area. My husband and I didn't have a lot of time due to our lease being up. Tamika was very flexible with meeting with us and providing information about the home buying process. I loved working with her. She was very positive, professional, patient and just an overall kind individual. I would definitely recommend her. read more

Tamika was great in helping me find my new home. I sold my condo in January and I was determined to buy a home in Oakland. We spent many weekends looking at homes and she walked me through every step of the process. When I finally found my home, Tamika went the extra mile to ensure my offer was accepted. Tamika came highly recommended to my sister and i in the sell of our Aunts condo who had recently passed. She assesed the property and gave me ideas on what to do in order to bring it up a little more current. She was awesome. I live in Tx and she actually kept me and my sister up to date on everything. She even held open houses for us. She was instrumental in finding contractors who could do the work for us. She was amazing. About two years later, and we did choose Tamika again, this time in the purchase of our home. My husband and I were truly impressed with her service when we sold our condo back in 2016. We trust in Tamika's ability and knowledge in helping people purchase and as well as sell homes. Her optimism and confidence has helped us to keep that same attitude when it came to buying our single family home earlier this year. If not for Tamika's work ethic and ability to place the spotlight on her clients so that they stand out from competitors, it might've taken us a while to find a home or worse, we might not have been able to buy one due to the steadily rising cost of homes. Our budget was $600,000, which is not much for a house in the Southbay in 2018. We saw a home in Gilroy that was in our budget, but there were a lot of looks at the open house. It was the only house we saw. We prayed, she prayed, and a few days later, we were chosen, our offer was accepted. Within 3 weeks of looking for a home, we closed Escrow, and within our budget. The process was so fast and easy that we didn't even feel like it was real. We can't recommend Tamika enough. Aside from being a fantastic realtor, she's down to earth and a joy to be with. This is what you will get when you choose Tamika as your realtor: * Professional & Experienced (She has built homes in the past as well) * Prompt and Easily Reachable * Caters to your needs * Non-Pressuring (but will make strong suggestions when she needs to) * Ethical * Follows through (she also walked us through inspections and maintenance of our home after the purchase) read more

We engaged Tamika to help us sell our house that we have lived in for over 30 years. We appreciated that she took our feelings into account when working with us. With only one weekend on the market we received multiple offers all over the asking price. read more

I don't know where to begin.. Tamika was and is the best real estate agent EVER! My wife and I had been in the market for about 2 months with another agent. After countless open houses and offers with no counters we we're feeling quite down and lost hope. During the time with the other agent I was on Redfin daily. Every time I found a property that we liked and I couldn't get ahold of our agent I would email Tamika for info on the property. Even though she wasn't representing us she took the time to look it up and send me as much info as possible. We set up a meeting with her in San Jose to see if we would have any better luck with her as our agent. We were so impressed with her that we terminated our representation agreement with our other agent that same day. The very next weekend we had a full list of open house's to view with all the property reports and disclosures ready to go. Needless to say we were countered on our very first offer unfortunately they countered over our max. Every time we put in an offer we placed in the top %. We got accepted on a Short Sale property in Hayward and went into escrow. Unfortunately the deal fell through due to some shady practices from the short sale negotiator. That didn't stop Tamika from getting us right back into the market and into the home we were meant to be in. After another weekend of open houses we found the perfect home. Our offer was not the highest amount, but out term were strong. Tamika advised us to write a personal letter to the owner. We shared our past experience with the short sale that fell though. Come to find out the same thing happened to this couple too.. We got accepted! It's Tamika's personal touches and connecting the buyer and seller on a different level that got us our home. Tamika did not become only our agent but she became a friend as well. We would recommend Tamika to any and all potential buyers/sellers and will absolutely use her again in the future! read more
