Did I tell you that the table was not cleaned at all and basic cutlery was not given. All the owner is interested about is in your payment. Thought it was a cooked tofu dish, when it was a cheese dish. Lentil dish was outstanding with tiny round balls of lentil in a brown sauce. Had to use the white rice to prevent the soupy dishes from cross contaminating. Would not come back for dinner at this place, as way overpriced with chf27 for butter chicken. Would come back again, but nothing special about this Indian place. No competition in Zurich Switzerland, as otherwise would have been out of business in no time back in Sunnyvale, CA.

But when you go to a fancy Indian place you pay for chicken, saag spinach, cabbage, pumpkin curry, lentil daal, and sometimes even rice all separate and you end up with a huge bill. Here I got everything for 12 bucks in one serving to go. That made me happy. Pumpkin curry was delicious, so was everything else. No seating, to go only. India Street Food was one of the best food experiences I had while traveling through most of western Europe. I stayed near this restaurant and came across it by chance, hungry and without the right currency. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave me a large portion, which was great since my family and I had been traveling for most of the day. The owner even threw in a free pakora type thing for free seeing that I had a toddler with me. The food was delicious. All three dishes that we tried were tasty, although I liked the vegetarian dishes best, even though I love my meats. I would go back in a heartbeat and if I'm ever in Zurich, I will make deliberate effort to get to India Street Food.
