Several years ago, I had entered into a business deal with Mr Lister, after my tax business partner had passed away. I was the silent partner. My partner's son inherited his portion of the business and we placed the business up for sale. Mr. Lister, the owner, contacted us and we sold the business to him "as is" at an agreed amount. It was agreed to let him make payments to pay the due balance. In the beginning, payments were made as agreed, but after only paying about half, then he decided the business was not worth the agreed amount. In the end, he discontinued making any more payments on the remaining balance (about $40k) and kept client listings and physical property.

Ive been doing my taxes here for about 14 years. Never had any problems with them. Unfortunately…read morethe person who always did them for me got sick and was not able to do them this year. The person who took over was horrible!!! I submitted all my paperwork 4/10/18, now I know I was close to not getting them done on time so a extension was filed. Even after the extension was filed I heard absolutely nothing about my taxes and called a month later only to find out they had not been filed! Her response as to why was "since tax season is over, I had other things I had to work on". So if I never followed up they would still be be there undone. So after all that and she completes my taxes I ask her what my return will be and she tells me I owe over 14k, I said that's impossible! So she checks and she had made a mistake on a decimal point. But thats not the least of it, after that, she informs me I would be getting a little over 1k back, which still seemed wrong to me. So I asked her to send me the paperwork so I could review it. As I supected there were numerous mistakes!!! I had to go back and forth with her about 3 times till she got it correct, so basically I felt like I did my own taxes! If I didnt catch those mistakes I would of lost over 1k!!! And she still has rhe nerve to charge the full $400 for her awful services! Even after all that, I sign all the forms and I pay, I hope they got filled. Emailed her to find out if they were filed and she doesn't respond, so i call the office and the nice receptionist (she's probably better at taxes than the other one) informs me that the one doing my taxes said they were filed. I hope thats true, and I finally get my retur. Needless to say, unless the person who was doing my taxes recovers from his illness, I will be looking for another place to handle my taxes. Worst tax experience ever and the lack of communication is unacceptable. This person just seems like they dont give a crap!!! Would not recommend to anyone!!!
