The people on the phone were nice when I made the appointments (2 cats at the same time slot for a full cat groom and nail caps). The cat grooming was expensive, but my two sphinx cats were very clean and smelled wonderful when they came home. They also had adorable nail caps on (sparkly!) that have mostly stayed on in the weeks following their appointment. Their hands are still in wonderful shape but my older cat keeps successfully popping off her toe caps in her efforts to clean her own toes lol. I was more worried about the front caps anyhow. All in all, this is great! Boyfriend said the front desk lady was friendly and wonderful and that he saw the staff handle our cat kids with care. He did say that they said they sedate some animals, and I wouldn't be into that but thankfully our cats did okay and didn't need that. I would hope the salon would pass any sedation by us before doing that if it was ever deemed necessary. Another request would be late appointment or weekend hours! I was told they only really do AM appointments on weekdays, which is super hard to jive with a regular work schedule. Other than that, and maybe a little extra glue in the kitty twinkle toe caps for our next run, I intend on using bloomingtails regularly for the foreseeable future to keep up to date with our cats nail caps and maybe 1-2 annual full grooms. We loved the experience and the cats are clean and getting used to their cap life.

Called to get pricing information and schedule an appointment for my mini Goldendoodle, who weighs…read moreunder 20 pounds. I was surprised to be quoted a starting price of $130 for a dog that size. When I politely repeated that he was a mini because I wasn't sure he had heard me, his response came across as sarcastic and dismissive. He stated that $130 was the starting price for any poodle mix unless it was a different dog, which was confusing given that I had already told him multiple times that my dog is a Goldendoodle. What bothered me most was the customer service. The conversation felt rude and unprofessional from the start. After I simply said "okay," he immediately hung up without asking if I still wanted to schedule an appointment, even though that was the reason for my call. Based on that interaction alone, I would not feel comfortable bringing my dog here. If someone is dismissive and disrespectful to potential customers, it naturally raises concerns about the level of care and professionalism they provide. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this experience left me looking elsewhere for grooming services.

Very energized, thorough and clear with instructions and goals for our furry guys. This time around, I am continuing with advanced obedience dog lessons and Morgan is teaching this class. My dog's situation is lack of socializing with other dogs and I was very apprehensive about how he would react. I was amazed at how comfortable and stable the environment was kept. I'm not sure if my dog could feel it too but he was the most relaxed he's ever been with dogs around. I felt so happy leaving the trainings session because I knew I was working with professionals. The feeling of relief you get from that professionalism is amazing. I have full trust that with work and consistency, my pup will be a great learner.

She offers several levels of courses, teaching all the important basics and skills, and also offers individual training sessions as well. She's super easy to reach if you have any questions when not in class, and seems to really love all her pupper students. I really love her approach to teaching, too. She teaches how to positively reward your dog so they can learn important skills that you might not have even thought about, while also teaching how to correct behaviors without having to turn to any sort of punishment that could hurt them like a shock collar or dog whistle. My dog absolutely loves her, and is thriving under her teaching. My biggest issues before training was barking when not getting what he wanted and pulling on his leash. Now, I have plenty of tools to turn to, to discourage the barking and he doesn't really pull when walking now. Like, the change with walks was so dramatic from even the first lesson on pulling, so I'm so happy! The way she trains is with your dogs happiness in mind. We learn about anxious behaviors so we can try and teach our pups in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Her training isn't about forcing them to exemplify the behaviors fast, it's about doing them in a safe, healthy manner that ensures these behaviors last their whole life.

Based on that representation, I arrived with the expectation that my dog would be met with patience, understanding, and an appropriate opportunity to acclimate to an unfamiliar environment. Unfortunately, rather than allowing him time to settle in or making a reasonable effort to ease his anxiety, I was simply told that they could groom him and that I should come back later. This response was especially disheartening given the very expertise and experience I had been led to believe they possessed. Everyone deserves the opportunity to work, but not everyone is necessarily suited to work under demanding circumstances--particularly in a field that requires sensitivity, specialized knowledge, and an understanding of animal behavior. When a business specifically represents itself as experienced in caring for anxious dogs, those qualities should be reflected in the experience it provides. Having said that if your dog possess special needs this i'snt the place.
