This is one of the only places in town that accepts cat grooming. My boyfriend was the party that…read moredid pick up and drop off since we had a very early appointment and I find it hard to get moving in the AM. The people on the phone were nice when I made the appointments (2 cats at the same time slot for a full cat groom and nail caps). The cat grooming was expensive, but my two sphinx cats were very clean and smelled wonderful when they came home. They also had adorable nail caps on (sparkly!) that have mostly stayed on in the weeks following their appointment. Their hands are still in wonderful shape but my older cat keeps successfully popping off her toe caps in her efforts to clean her own toes lol. I was more worried about the front caps anyhow. All in all, this is great! Boyfriend said the front desk lady was friendly and wonderful and that he saw the staff handle our cat kids with care. He did say that they said they sedate some animals, and I wouldn't be into that but thankfully our cats did okay and didn't need that. I would hope the salon would pass any sedation by us before doing that if it was ever deemed necessary. Another request would be late appointment or weekend hours! I was told they only really do AM appointments on weekdays, which is super hard to jive with a regular work schedule. Other than that, and maybe a little extra glue in the kitty twinkle toe caps for our next run, I intend on using bloomingtails regularly for the foreseeable future to keep up to date with our cats nail caps and maybe 1-2 annual full grooms. We loved the experience and the cats are clean and getting used to their cap life.

Called to get pricing information and schedule an appointment for my mini Goldendoodle, who weighs…read moreunder 20 pounds. I was surprised to be quoted a starting price of $130 for a dog that size. When I politely repeated that he was a mini because I wasn't sure he had heard me, his response came across as sarcastic and dismissive. He stated that $130 was the starting price for any poodle mix unless it was a different dog, which was confusing given that I had already told him multiple times that my dog is a Goldendoodle. What bothered me most was the customer service. The conversation felt rude and unprofessional from the start. After I simply said "okay," he immediately hung up without asking if I still wanted to schedule an appointment, even though that was the reason for my call. Based on that interaction alone, I would not feel comfortable bringing my dog here. If someone is dismissive and disrespectful to potential customers, it naturally raises concerns about the level of care and professionalism they provide. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this experience left me looking elsewhere for grooming services.

I was looking for a place in Tallahassee that had a dog day care and was happy I found this place…read more I was shocked when I saw the pictures of the place because I was hoping there was an option for Humans to stay. The best part for me is they have a groomer there so while Mick (my dog) gets to play, he also gets groomed right before he gets home. They also have a complimentary free day to test out so if you're on the fence, it's free, why not. During my first visit, I got the feel it was a genuine day care and when my dog left it was like leaving my child for his first day of school. They cycle the dogs out that get to play so I was anxious to see how he does. They have cameras you can watch online. My dog is also timid around men but he felt comfortable around one of the male coworkers (Sorry I don't know his name). I didn't know how the grooming would go so when I got a call from Molly, I was ready for the worse. She told me he was fantastic and loved him. It was so unexpected and it made me so happy to know he did so well. Overall, my dog seems to like it (not sure because he's still learning how to talk) and I have had positive experiences with multiple staff. They answered all my questions and were amazing to Mick. I think if you are hesitant or have questions, just give them a call because they were more than happy to answer all my (clingy crazy dog dad) questions.

When I picked him up a few hours later, he looked like he'd just come out of surgery because most of the fur was shaved off around his neck! Just a couple of snips with scissors and combing it out is all that is needed, and what I usually do. They also shaved halfway up his two back legs! PAW. PAD. FUR. Guess where that fur is. There are chunks of fur missing on his body that I can't even comprehend the purpose of. $105 for the removal and what they called a groom. Don't. That's my best advice.
