And there are toilets nearby. For the adults and bigger teens, there is a big assault course a short walk away. There is so much I havent seen at Stanwick Lakes as Ive been limited by the children but Im very pleased by what I have seen! I think parking is £1-£2 depending on the season.

There are many ducks and swans to feed and there is a bird watching hut around the back somewhere. The lake offers different watersports, a tree tops assault course and there is also a temple and playground. The restaurant on the lake is excellent value for money, offering two meals for the price of one. Willen lake is a great place for a simple walf or even a whole day out! A great place to visit.

They have many bars and restuarants situated all around the lake including a gym. There is a big park area for children to play in, they even have water activities it really is a family day out. They have the miniture train that takes you for an adventure around the lake. You will find plenty of runners around the lake if you wanted to get a bit of exercise this is probably the best place and best of all its free to run around, they also have obstacle courses you can do as you are running around the lake. Definately recommended for the summer months as a great day out and for exercise.

The newly redone boating lake provides a great free place to have some family fun. My children love to go and feed the ducks, walk around the lake and play in the play area. The cafe is cheap and cheerful all you need really for a quick snack! There are toilets on site that are a bit basic but always seem clean. The best thing about the boating lake is the bonfire and fireworks display that Corby council put on every year for free! It really is spectacular!

Weeell! weLL etc. One day we stopped and went in. It was a country estate and the house was used by the BBc for period dramas like Pride and Predudice. The land was newly opened by the National Trust for walking around and the animals had never seen people. I went to the loo behind a tree and was covered from head to foot in baby bunnies asking What are you? I think the house is now a school but the whole place is very beautiful. St Margaret's Church, WellThis church stands on a hill overlooking Well Hall and towards the sea. It was rebuilt in 1733 in the Palladian style reminiscent of St Paul's Covent Garden London. The bellcote was built in 1970 to replace a Victorian one and contains a bell dating from the fourteenth century. It has a temple-like appearance with four Tuscan columns carrying a large eaves. Inside it is unusual to find the altar at the the west end of the building. There is a three teir pulpit, box pews and a gallery. The stucco work ceiling is thought to be 18th. Century. The House is a three storey, seven bay, red brick house with a hipped roof and dormer windows. It was thought to have been redesigned in the 1720's. The house looks over a three lakes and is in line with the church of St. Margaret's which is situated on the hill to the west. The photo's show the beauty of both.
