Not a problem, as the place was still empty. In my notes, someone had recommended the tagliatelle al ragu di anatra (pasta with duck sauce) so I ordered it (14 euros). Wow, it was excellent!!! I also ordered a side of grilled vegetables (6 euros), although they were overcooked; and the portion was large and I couldn't eat it all. I had a glass of red wine (4 euros) with dinner. As I dined, the place filled up. My total bill came to 23 euros, which has a 3.50 euro discount. I wasn't sure why I received the discount, but I was glad to receive it.

The service can be slow since there is only one waitress, however, the genuine experience, food and atmosphere is fantastic. There is no wine list, no specials written. The chef is amazing guy, perhaps 80 years old and shows how passionate he is about his restaurant and folks enjoying his cooking. The day we were there, one of the specials was tagliatelle with fresh truffles. The chef actually comes out after the waitress brings out the food and grinds the truffle over your plate. He looked so proud and happy while doing it too. The antipasto was the best one we had (hands down) and their pasta bolognese was so good that we ordered the gnocchi as well.
