They have a good selection of packages, lotions, equipment for tanning, newest addition I think was wellness over the past few years..? I have not tried that yet, & I don't spray tan. I'm more of a go-to-the-beach person or come in for a tan visit. I just happened to go in today as they were celebrating their new remodel. Boy it looks so nice & modern! Love what they did to it! They are now wearing name tags also so I met Sophia today who checked me in. Very nice girl! The manager was there also but I forget his name. He has always been wonderful also! If the prices are above your budget, what I do is usually catch the holiday sales, Black Friday is a great one. They also reward you with discounts, free lotion packets, upgrades when you hit a certain number of visits. I don't live in Oxford, so I buy the visits & they work great for me. I have to hunt down my other pictures to post, but this is a good start with the new entry they did. Love it here! Always happy employees, get a good tan going here.

My grandma was in the hospital after a fall that left her with cracks in two vertebrae. After five…read moredays they moved her to Wellbridge in Fenton for rehab expecting a full recovery. She was expected to do physical and occupational therapy each day, eat 3 great meals and participate in all the fun activities planned each day. Her back was in lot of pain but she was feeling positive as she did therapy and enjoyed the amenities of Wellbridge. Each day my grandma seemed to decline. She ate less and wasn't interested in the activities. They diagnosed her with a UTI and started antibiotics. I asked the nurses if something was wrong and if she should go to the hospital. Wellbridge continued to say she was fine and not doing that bad and "if a hospital was needed we'd send her there but I think she's getting better and will improve everyday". I asked repeatedly for the doctor who I never saw (there is one doctor for the entire large facility and he is usually only available by text to the nurses). I continued asking if she could be moved to a hospital because I felt she needed real medical care. The rehab people continued saying that everyday as she worsened ("we think she's getting better, no hospital is necessary") all the way up to two days before she died. The nurse told me that day "I expect she'll recover from these problems". I was extremely worried and did not trust the nurses, rehab workers or the doctor I never saw. She developed pneumonia in both lungs, developed edema and bed sores. Still the nurses and absent doctor insisted she stay there. So we trusted them and left her there. In her last day, the doctor meets with us to discuss hospice (two hours before she died), and talks about how she's been so sick for so long and it was just her time. Um, she wasn't sick two weeks earlier and maybe if she had received real medical care then she'd be here now. They didn't take her seriously as a real person or her health and allowed her to continue to decline until it was too late. They should have seen she was declining and alerted us, allowing us to try to get her help. They are a rehab facility and not a hospital. It is possible with expert hospital acre she could have recovered and at least be with us still now. The rehab personnel continued to come to her room to see if she up for a physical therapy session even on her last days when was half dead!! There is no communication between the absent doctor, nurses, rehab workers, aids to each other or the families of patients. I believe if you are strictly taking your loved one to Wellbridge for physical therapy and they remain in good health it would be a a very nice facility to be at. Also if it's an end of life situation and only hospice is needed it would be a good place to be. BUT if you're family member needs any kind of medical care, and declines during rehab BEWARE! Take them out immediately and get them to a quality hospital. Wellbridge will keep your family member hostage, provide minimal medical care, communicate with personnel and family very poorly or not at all, which can lead to the decline and then death of your loved one. I warn you, stay away from Wellbridge and keep your family safe. The facility, grounds and food are very nice, but the care is very poor and you will be left regretting your decision to go to Wellbridge after your loved one dies there. Like a guy I met in the hallway said to me the day my grandma stopped breathing in her room, "They say at this place you come in the front door alive and leave out the back door on a stretcher." My grandma came in ready to do rehab and left on a velvet covered gurney one and half weeks later. Shame on you Wellbridge for letting patients die. These are real people as important as you are but you treat your patients like objects coming through a revolving door. They come in alive and leave dead. I will always tell everyone I know what you did and about the poor care my grandma received while with you. I hope you go out of business and stop this tragedy from happening to other families.

I had a skin tag that needed to be removed it was very tiny, but everything Chelsea did and say was making me feel uncomfortable ashamed and disgusting She also kept saying keep the smell away, you smell or you don't want to smell.. I felt so ugly I don't smell but she made me feel like I do.. I'm so upset . She stated if I wanted a cyst removed it would have to be scheduled as a " Surgery " and that insurance will not cover it which I thought was strange. So after she made me feel like I was quasi moto, I scheduled the "surgery " to remove this tiny cyst on my back. After less than 10 minutes in the office she just kept saying don't pop anything don't irritate anything but she never touched me other than to remove 1 tiny skin tag. She made me feel so ugly & disgusting. As I went to pay my $20 co-Pay the desk girl said it's $85 I'm like what for ? She said insurance doesn't cover it! Today I get a bill from trinity health saying they billed my insurance and I owe them money.. then I spoke with BCBS & they informed me that after speaking to Caudill dermatology that they never should have charged me and I have a $60plus dollar credit, and that most drs take your co- pay and bill you for what insurance doesn't cover . I wonder if I hadn't called trinity, BCBS if Caudill dermatology would have let me know that I had a refund coming back or were they just not going to say anything if BCBS hadn't called them? Hmm ? So I hated the way they made me feel, the girls in the office are like perfect little stepford children. Robotic and unfeeling. I'm still looking for a good dermatologist but finally I had to say something especially when going to the dermatologist you have a skin problem so why would they make you feel worse. Highly recommend NOT going. Very Bougie! Ugh

Dr. Schulte diagnosed my son with accommodative dysfunction and recommended vision therapy. After calling the recommended vision therapy places, I was discouraged to find out the service cost was unaffordable and out of pocket only. After research, I discovered Corewell Vision Clinic. I was able to obtain the vision therapy there with the script written by Dr. Schulte and covered by insurance. Several weeks into therapy, the vision OT informed me that Dr. Schulte was not responding to the vision therapy evaluations being sent to her, thus they were unable to bill insurance. Both the vision OT and supervisor tried calling her office to speak to her and she refused. She also refused to sign the evaluations so my son's therapy was disrupted. Fortunately, after speaking with my son's pediatrician, he agreed to oversea the rehab until I was able to get in to see an ophthalmologist affiliated with Corewell. I am livid! Completely unprofessional and in my opinion unethical. I will not continue as a patient there. I will never recommend this place of business. New management/new owners this year...seems to be a pretty seamless transition as most of the staff is the same. My mom is comfortable, clean, feels safe...they specialize in brain trauma...from Alzheimers, strokes...and it's a small home - less than 20 residents. The staff are busy...as with many businesses...no idle hands these days. They get all the residents dressed each morning, out to the central living room, showered, into pj's and into their own small private bedrooms in the evening. Physical therapist comes in frequently. These are brain trauma seniors though...catered for their very special needs. Our family is so grateful for their help and kind care. Thank you everyone at Heather Pines...we love you.

Staff complains they are too busy if asked why something was not taken care of. Seems they don't have time for anything. I wonder if any of them actually have a certification to pass medication. Gossip is a big problem here, things are just unprofessional and the Owner is part of it in my opinion. One shower for all residents & no ventable ceiling fan so the bathroom is too hot & does not vent odors because there in no window in that bathroom. It's just old & outdated and just doesn't seem to be a priority. Possibly because it is up for sale. It is less expensive that many places in the area. I was extremely disapointed in the activities. There are a few staff members that really care & are very good. Sadly, they cannot take care of everyone. I would be concerned if my loved one had any altered mental or physical condition. Also pick your own physician, homecare, hospice, etc. Your loved one has rights, do not let anyone take those away. If you are not sure, ask to see background checks, certificates, etc. Contact the state to find out information and/or with any concerns. The truth is, you get what you pay for. I would never refer this facility to anyone. The above statements are my personal opinion!!!!!!!!
