I had the day off and decided to explore some shops I had not been to at Lumina Station. I was…read morewalking around and hopped into Charleston Shoe Co. and greeted by the lovely owner. We chatted a little bit and she told me the background of the store and I was pretty much sold right off the bat. It is a women owned business with "Cobblestones to Cocktails" footwear. Basically meaning that these bad boys are super comfy and can be worn for all occasions. They are handcrafted and they have a few stores in the US. The owner told me about how she did a tour of the Biltmore and walked the entire thing in a pair of these shoes. I decided on a pair with a slight heel and tested them out downtown one day. Not only were we walking around downtown for hours but I was doing so while chasing a toddler and not once did my feet hurt, did I twist my ankle, or get hurt. Honestly, these really are Cobblestones to cocktails footwear. I have since been back and once again had amazing customer service and just love their products and their store front. Highly recommend if you are at Lumina Station to pop in.

There was a good 20+ people waiting. She looked no one in the eyes, no apologies. Nothing. She then turns her back to everyone and goes to the registers. This is where it really started to get good. I had three items to return and her rudeness out the gate was next level. She was flippant, condescending, and very rude. She clearly couldn't do her job properly and was unable to find my receipt that was located in the app. You could tell she was getting more and more frustrated, and the tone of her voice was getting angrier. After she started scrolling through my receipts online, she then looks at me and tells me to put my email in the phone they had at the register because she couldn't find my purchases and it was taking too long. There was an issue with my email in the app so it wasn't going to work and I explained that to her, but she wanted to do it anyway, and when she realized I was right it made her more frustrated. At this point, I'm done dealing with her attitude, and I asked her for the manager, and she looked at me with a smile on her face and said "I am the manager" and then said in a smart tone "Why don't you bring your receipt in next time"! At that moment, I looked behind me to the long line of people and said "Are you hearing this lady"?! Everyone was speechless at her rudeness and at that point I told her I would be filing a complaint and that she deserved to be fired. I am a very understanding person as a business owner myself but nothing constitutes the manner in which I was treated. This "manager" is a joke let alone incompetent and I can guarantee I'm not the first or the last to complain.
