A waiter at another restaurant actually recommended it to us as a top pizza spot where locals go and we didn't regret taking her advice! It's a bit hard to find and looks almost like a small hole in the wall but the pizza here is worth it! One thing to note is that it's self service. You order the pizza and bring it to your own table to eat. There's not service per say but the owner and staff were still helpful. If you're looking for a real authentic pizza spot the locals actually eat at and not tourists this is the place to go.

In fact this place is so tiny you have to give the right to way to people passing by. I was not particularly hungry but I found this place as I was strolling around my old neighborhood and noticed "Pizza fatto in forno al legna". For those who know..... Wood fired pizza is simply the best and this place is truly a step above many around town. It's not a place for table side dining - however you will be very happy with the Pizza and walk away satisfied for a very fair price! Give your votes... This place deserves the attention as it is now only a year old and the owner if from near Napoli - the motherland of Pizza! The Piazza Diavola was fantastic!!!

He was extremely nice and I had a small divola, it was amazing! Not too big not too small and just a little bit spicy. Perfect. Really small spot but the food is really amazing. Considering the face that I've been in Italy for a week and this is my favourite spot says a lot.

This restaurant was walking distance and we could place an order online. Our total was only 8 or 9 euro. We appreciated that the pizza was cut since we were taking it to our airbnb. The chewy crust was great. We both loved it and it was perfect for sharing. The inside of the restaurant was cute and we would definitely eat in next time. I'm sure the pizza is even better when it's super crisp and fresh. Delicioso!

The capers made it so salty. I would have been happy without it. And maybe substitute it for garlic instead. They don't joke around about the cheese! My pizza was loaded with gooey melt in your mouth mozzarella cheese maybe a little too much for me. My after thought was that I wasn't going to eat cheese for the next couple days !! The crust was good, it was thin the way I like it. It had charred blisters on the crust edges, and very rustic tasting. The Margarita pizza was pretty much the same except for the fresh basil leaves and without the anchovies and capers. My over experience was quite nice nonetheless because I was in Italy eating this authentic pizza made by the owner himself.

Frankly surprised by the low reviews - the pizza was pretty perfect (shout out as we know the complexities as we try to navigate home pizza making with our Ooni). We ordered the MARADONA ( Margherita con nduja, burrata fresca, basilico | Tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy sausage, fresh burrata, basil). The Nduja was pretty lovely. Had a great kick and my mouth was actually pretty spicy by the end of the meal! The fresh burrata was a great touch. But seriously, the star of the show was the dough. NGL - the restaurant was pretty toasty from the giant wood fired oven in the corner! Because we were sharing - they gave us these cute lil' half moon plates that flanked the pizza perfectly. Cute! Also appreciated that there was no judgment from our server for sharing. Service is as expected in Italia. Unhurried, leisurely & I'm here for it! Apparently they also have locations in FL!

Good deal, right? So, I figure why not. Especially since the lobby is full with 2 Italian girls (takeout) and 4 American exchange students (by the slice). Seating is tight, 8 bar stools total. Great place to grab a slice to takeout, not a place to take a date. About 7 minutes after ordering, the whole pizza (about 30cm/12inches in diameter), bubbling cheese and pepperoni, is delivered on a plate and you get a serrated knife and fork to cut it up yourself. No pizza cutters here. I asked the guy about my coke and he pointed to the refrigerator and asked me to grab whatever I wanted. The pizza crust is thin, and the outer crust is crispy and chewy with a light dusting of flour. There were 7 pats of Mozzarella cheese, and many, many slices of pepperoni. On my pizza, perhaps too much pepperoni and too much sauce as the middle part was really soggy and dripping with orange oil and sauce. The guy starts closing down from 9pm, so I finish up and move toward the register to pay. He asks for €9, and I walk and point to the sign on the door that indicates it should only be €6 + 1 = €7. He walks over and reads the sign and says he's sorry! So, again, maybe he was new, but he was still cool about it. Final verdict: 2 stars for atmosphere, 3 stars for service and presentation, 3 stars for quality and taste, 3 stars for cost-performance and my humble evaluation is a 3, that this a very ordinary pizzeria.
