I found Nick (one of the engineers), to have a patient, talented and truthful enough ear to guide me thru my recordings. His mixing and mastering skills are top notch. I have worked with other studios and to get the sound and quality at the turn around time he gives, is unheard of. I will not be switching studios!

His ears, attitude, and professionalism impressed me, and I will be recommending him to friends. I'm a hobbyist home recorder and have been working on a demo for a new project. I found East Side Tone through Yelp and set up a couple hours with Eric to get a second set of ears on my mix. He was an excellent teacher and demonstrated mastery of his craft. Sitting in the control room with him, he exudes creativity and positive energies. You do not feel 'on the clock' or like you're purchasing a commodified product. Although we only spent a couple hours mixing, I could see how valuable Eric's creative input would be in each phase of production. If you're considering buying a couple hours of studio time for one facet of your album, I would urge you to consider booking a couple of days with Eric and have him guide you end-to-end. I wish I had.
