My husband hired them to put in a barbecue area in our backyard and pavers with trees in the front of our house. Then he suggested adding on some plants by our master bedroom window and behind the barbecue area. That's where the trouble began. All work was approved in August. We decided on honeysuckles on trellises and camellias. The work for the barbecue area and the front of the house went well and on schedule. The area behind the barbecue area and by the master bedroom were not completed. It kept getting put off. The job was started in August and was not finished until the following April. Excuses included that the plants were not available at the nursery that they use. That actually was a bit of a relief since they wanted to plant them in January and I was afraid that they would freeze. Then March rolls around and I ask if we could go to the nursery that they use and pick out the honeysuckles and camellias. There was not much to pick from, but we decided on coral honeysuckle for behind the barbecue area and purple honeysuckle and two white camellias for the master bedroom area. Unfortunately, the only white camellias available were on trellises. I told my husband that it might cause a problem, but if they asked for more money that would be perfectly fine. Unfortunately, no one spoke to us about it. Their answer to the problem was simply to leave out the trellises for the honeysuckles. Now we have honeysuckles that are planted too far from the fence with no trellises. This company is either lacking in communication with customers or does not have enough experience with smaller plants. I recommend them for stonework, paving, and tree planting, but not for smaller plants. Their pricing is very reasonable. Just be sure that they understand what is important to you for example trellises. Also be sure that they don't do any planting in January when your plants are liable to freeze. Better yet just stick to the stonework and paving. They are great at that!

Everything went as promised and beyond!!! Superior quality all the way . I would highly recommend…read morethem .

Such a dreamy little plant shop we stumbled upon while visiting the East Bay last week! If I ever…read morehad my own shop, it would look a lot like Crimson. I love the apothecary vibe, deep colors, lush greens mixed with dried florals... definitely gets the creative juices flowing. They also have a floral design area which I imagine would be perfect for workshops and getting a more hands-on experience. They carry great little gifts and cards (picked up a cute mushroom one for myself) and everything you could possibly need for that plant addict in your life. While a bit pricey, I was very impressed by their selection of local handmade ceramics & pots as well. Definitely add this spot to your botanical adventures!

Their inventory is dominated by your typical cultivars of philodendrons, anthuriums, pothos, etc. Most of these plants are widely available at garden centers and other plant stores. Even the carnivorous plants and staghorn fern they had are varieties I've commonly seen elsewhere. They also carry spray painted tillandsias, a practice I dislike because it obscures the plant's natural appearance and is something I generally associate with novelty retail rather than horticulture. I visited hoping to find some unique specimens, such as uncommon orchids, metallic leaved begonias, rocklike pseudolithos, or other harder to find collector plants. Casual indoor plant owners would probably find this store adequate, but I'd recommend those looking specifically for rare or unusual plants to skip this place. Update: Soon after writing this review I got a very emotionally charged message from the owner who mentioned that my review is a "public dig" and asked "Is it your goal to damage a women owned and run small business?". It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I leave an honest respectful review (all I did was highlight who this store would be good for!) and I get a response like that. Especially ending in her saying "I hope you have a better day than I now will have". It's all very unprofessional.
