Don't expect to bring a car here though as it is inside of the ZTL vehicle restricted area. The inn is situated on the second floor. It's a cute little apartment turned B&B. Coming and going is completely automated with touch key cards. The kitchen is beautiful as well, always open and available to make a nespresso and have a "dolce". Booking this B&B is like having a private concierge along with it. We just can't thank Gianluca enough for all he has done for us. It is clear from our experience that he has been doing this for 24 years. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking Rome is always phenomenal! The location of this B&B is perfect, only a few blocks from the Vatican and a short walk across the Tiber river to the other major archaeological sites. Even better, there is a 24 hour bakery in the ground floor right underneath this place!! We just can't recommend this guest house enough!

This was a nice touch to our intro. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace, complete with juice coffee/tea, bread with spreads, croissants, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, a meat plate, and a cheese plate; you won't leave hungry! There is also an elevator so you don't have to lug your luggage (or yourself) up the stairs.

She gave us a map and showed us where all the sites, bus lines, bank ATM's and must sees of Rome were. We fell in love with her and couldn't have been happier with the room accommodations. The rooms are very modern and clean with high ceilings, AC, TV (we never actually used) and the most comfortable bed we had in our entire trip of Italy. The location is amazing! Right next door is a great cafe for breakfast with a welcoming proprietor. A few blocks away are amazing restaurants, more cafés, and of course, the Colosseum which you can see from your room. On our last day we received a cute goodbye note from Alberta and a special breakfast waiting for us. When we return to Rome, we will be staying here again. Although this is not a gay bed and breakfast, we felt very welcomed as a gay couple staying in Alberta's home.

The owners did a great job explaining the place to us, including the self service breakfast room and coffee machine. They have plenty of maps and guidebooks available to borrow during your stay. Wi-Fi worked great. There is a TV, but I couldn't find any English language stations, so it pretty much stayed off during our visit. The apartment is a very short walk to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and The Roman Forum. In the opposite direction is St John Lateran's. While convenient to these attractions the street is not at all touristy. Feels like living in a regular Roman neighborhood. The metro stop is about a 10 minute walk. My only watch out is that the owners prefer to be paid in cash to avoid credit card fees, so make sure to start your ATM withdrawals in time to get around your daily ATM limit and have enough cash to pay your bill! Would definitely stay here again.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 222 which is a twin (double bed). The room was clean. The soap dispensers were not full in the bathroom. There was no soap in the shower and about 1/4 of the bottle for the sink. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Just note that this is far from the city center so you'll have to use a taxi or subway to get there. *the name on this hotel is now B&B Hotel Roma Tuscolana San Giovanni.

He does a wonderful job of keeping the common room and all the rooms very clean. Everything is very safe here and we are very comfortable. The neighborhood that the hostel is in is nice because there are locals and some great eateries that are not jacked up tourist prices. We are near the metro, coliseum, and about a 15 minute walk from the Termini station. I highly recommend staying here when in Roma!

It is directly across the street from the Seneto or Senate so there is a good police presence for added tourist safety. The rooms were very clean, wide and bright. They offered a free mini bar, free breakfast, AC, Internet TVs and all the upscale amenities. We LOVED IT! The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and caring. They all spoke perfect English as well. They helped with recommendations for dinner and set up transportation arrangements for a cruise transfer after. (Of course, at our cost) but it was nice to have them set up a private van to take us. This place is a 6 stars out of 5 stars . It exceeded all expectations. While it's not a true B&B in in that they didn't provide breakfast in the morning as all other Italian B&Bs do, it is more like mini-apartments with a kitchen, laundry area, living room and our unit was three bedrooms-three baths and totally spacious and clean! It was beyond ideal for two nights and I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for an extended stay in Rome, whether it's a week or a month. The management was incredibly friendly and professional. When I checked-in on Yelp, they didn't even know they had a check-in offer, so I go to show them how awesome the app is, and when I came back at the end of the day, my free bottle of wine was awaiting me our room. I would certainly stay here again. Why four stars? It's cash only, something you will see often in independently owned businesses in Italy and it's kind of an inconvenience for the customer. There was great local shopping and places to eat as well. For the price and the location I would definitely return to here. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and it is very close to the train station.
