The shop is clean and professional. I like the fact that they can do a multitude of thing not just tires. I had an exhaust leak in my truck that was a very small crack. I took my truck to Meineke to get a quote to see the price. and they tried to tell me I had an oil leak on top of that. and that it would cost extra, and that they had to do it in order to do the welding job. but when I got home and checked I had no oil leak. and still haven't had any since (it's been over a month) they tried to charge me over $1400 for fixing both "problems" and to pay for the parts. low key felt like I was trying to get scammed into paying for more than what the actual job costs. I was informed they just had inventory and the District Manager had messed up their counts. I called the DM left a voice mail and texted him. He did not respond to either. After 2 hours my husband went in looked on the showroom floor and found his size tire. Manager refused to sell us that tire because it was more money than the one she quoted. My husband told her we weren't concerned about the price he just needed a tire. But to just let us sit there for 2 hours was ridiculous. Needless to say we left without a tire. Very poor customer services. We could visibly see technicians drinking coffee and energy drinks they were all walking around playing on their phones. I'll be surprised if this place is open in a year!

I decided to take my car here. I went to pick it up and had to drive to gastonia for my son's allergy shots. They did NOT plug my battery back up to my alternator and I got stranded with my son on back roads trying to come home from the doctor in the rain. How is something like that over looked. I don't understand. It was an absolute nightmare but at this point I hadn't heard other bad things yet. A couple months later I needed to take my car to get looked at again. I decided to give them another try. I took it the fixed it. I thought they were rude but most men are to women in car places so I didn't complain. Just decided to not go back. I paid 368 for 1 ignition coil and 1 spark plug. This was February 27th. On October 27 my car started acting up again and I knew from previous experience it was the spark plugs again. I took it to the Toyota clinic and I was correct. But apparently you're supposed to change all at the same time. Not just one. And I paid 377 for all 4 of mine and ignition coil. So not only did they not fix it properly but I paid 9 more for all of it to get fixed. Country town will screw you over if you're a woman. I have spoken to 4 other females who have had horrible experiences here. I know a couple of guys who won't go back and a couple who have never had an issue. But I have not heard any women with a positive experience. I will never go back. And I will never recommend.

So they pulled up the alignment sheet and they said they purposely left all of it in the red on the sheet because they know better than Chevrolet multimillion dollar company on specs. Do NOT GO HERE. Our experience dealing with Abernethy used car dealership has left a bad taste in our mouth. Though…read morethe staff was extremely friendly up front (we were looking to purchase a car, after all), when we later had multiple problems with small parts being missing (tire key, seat belt restraint, 2 car mats) and called to ask if they might have such parts and just forgot them, we were more or less told to shove it. I think the saleswoman's exact words were "well, its a used car, did you really think it would have all the pieces?!" As if having high expectations is utter nonsense. The car is in decent shape, but there are quite a few little things that are rather annoying and would have been nice to know about: the roof leaks in heavy rain, the plastic piece in the wheel well had been superglued back together at one point, the car had sustained hail damage at one point and the paint job was inexpertly repaired. Now, of course we understand that there is a certain risk in buying a used vehicle, and of course none of the issues are major or dangerous, but a little more honesty would have been appreciated. We still would have purchased the car for the same price, and would have known to fix the issues before they became much more inconvenient.
