As a visitor to Bowmore without a car of my own, dining options were limited. The staff was very friendly and capable and gave us some info on the town. It's the only Indian place on Islay as far as I know. For those reasons I gave it 3 stars. On a Saturday evening the take our bus ones appeared relatively busy but there was only one other group in the restaurant. Very quiet. No music. No alcohol served, although you can bring your own I believe. The chicken tikka masala and chicken korma were below average and the coke was flat.
