This review has been long overdue. Jun is such a talented artist! My sister found her on Instagram and scheduled us for an appointment to have our eyebrows done. I've had my eyebrows done before and they were discolored and messed up. Jun worked her magic and fixed them so you could no longer see the old eyebrows and gave me a softer look which I requested. She makes sure your brows complement your face and takes the time to make sure you are satisfied with the shape. I was nervous for my first time, but I'm beyond happy with the result. You get numbing cream and I was worried it would be painful but you just feel pricking and a mild soreness after. With the initial appointment, your brows will look a lot darker than you anticipate but once it's healed they are natural looking yet still looks like you put in effort to fill in your brows. She was able to get rid of a lot of the redness from previous microblading from 6 years ago-microblading left y brows scarred and red. when I spoke with others this was due to the microblading cutting too deep into the skin. The way Taiyo brows does a great job is she takes her time we talk about what I want, and I also trust her work from all the pictures she does the more natural style that I prefer. I recently got my brows done by Jun and I'm so glad I did! She does a very natural look for ombré brows which is why I went to her in the first place. I don't wear makeup on most days and I feel like having fuller (yet natural looking) brows gives my face more life. She shaped my brows to uplift my face and even covered up my scar. I had a scar on one of my brows and I could never cover it up with brow gel/ pencil as much as I tried. I thought her pricing was also very fair which is another reason I decided to go with her. It also includes one touch up. I've inquired elsewhere in the past and I was totally turned off by the price. She's also such a sweet person which makes the experience more pleasant. She was very welcoming and I appreciate that she took the time to explain her reasoning behind a softer arch for my face vs a straight or higher arch. (It was exactly what I envisioned, only 10x better) Explaining her process made me more comfortable since this was my first time getting ombre shading. She is attentive to detail, noticing which areas have more/ less hair and adjusting accordingly with the ink. The results?
