An Unpleasant Dinning Experience !!
4 of us adults, cramped into a small square table at the front. Asked for an empty bigger table, was refused. There were also 2 other bigger square tables, but not allowed to be used.
Impatient waitress, who would not listen to us, started to argue with us on what to order.
We ordered 2 serves of spring onion pan cakes, and 1 serve of oysters ommelette, which were to be starters/entree to share, 4 main meals, and 4 green teas which turned out to be very expensive tea bags green tea and not freshly brewed green tea.
Main meals came first; half way eating, about 15 minutes and 2 reminders later, 2 serves of spring onion pan cakes came, which by that time, the small table was full. About 10 minutes later, the other starter oyster ommelette came. Told the waiter(with hornbill bird hairdo) to please hang on, or help us find a space on table to ut plate down. Angry waiter just stack our bowls(which we were still using to eat) push our body aside, and angrily put down plate with a bang, and walked off. Called him, ignored us. Took it up with supervisor, offered a token apology, and did nothing else.
Food : Honestly, very average. Minced pork was gluey, oyster ommelette was starchy and gluey, tasteless, with less than 5 tiny oysters. The rice was too soggy(can't even produce fluffy rice!) Coupled with waitress and waiter's bad attitude, made this a very unpleasant dinning experience.
Authentic Taiwanese food taste a lot better than what we've had here. Traditional Taiwanese hospitality are way better in Taiwan than in this food joint.
There are many other good food outlets in Glen Waverley with excellent and courteous service. Not worth coming to this joint to be insulted.
