As a venue manager, we've been very impressed with Grand Central Party Rental and recommend them to…read moreour clients. They are on time, professional, always pleasant, hard working and make sure everything is right. They have a wide variety of items and are very knowledgable about what will work best for multiple styles and spaces. They are very quick to respond, make requested changes, drop off and pick up. I would give them more stars if I could. A big thank you to Maxine for always being available and making things happen!

Worst rental experience ever if I didn't go personally to the office I wouldn't have believed that…read morethis company was even legit. I ordered china, catering equipment, and a dance floor for my daughter's wedding for 85 guests. I meet with sales adviser, Melody for advice especially on the dance floor just to be sure my order was correct. I had no knowledge of what was needed, so I trusted her advice and placed an order solely based off of her recommendation. The dance floor delivered was literally a half of a square!!! It couldn't even be linked together to make a square. Obviously she has zero clue how the pieces link together. Even the delivery drivers said they knew something was wrong with the order when they picked it up. When I tried to get the company to correct their mistake and bring two more squares (I even said I'd pay for it) they told me they wouldn't be able to deliver it on Saturday because nobody would be there and the best they could do was lay it outside of their office before they closed for me to pick up?! So basically if someone stole it before I got there the liability would be on me. Why would a company even suggest leaving their inventory outside unattended?! To top it off when the delivery drivers came back to pick up the order apparently they had zero idea of what they were supposed to be picking up and left a portion of the order at the venue. Apparently the office staff failed to communicate that with them. This company doesn't seem organized or knowledgeable about their products at all based off the advice and service I received. I would not recommend them for any significant event such as a wedding, and would strongly suggest shopping around for someplace else. The entire process was a classic example of "You get what you pay for." I regret renting from them and wish I would've paid more and went with "Please Be Seated" or someplace else instead.

Having been to bouncy places across the country now, this one is a little above average. I'll give…read morea quick review about the last time I was there and of course your experience may vary. Noon Year's Eve - an event in which at noon they dropped balloons. Place started out not particularly busy but as noon drew nearer it became a sardine situation. Mostly this was not their fault, I think there was space just the parents and kids managed to really incorrectly utilize the side areas. My one year old had to pay to get in which annoyed me, there was no space that was safe for her to play in for most of the time I was there. Near the end I just climbed in a bouncy house and provided a body shield for her when the screaming hordes of sugar fueled 5 years olds inevitably shot through. Potential solution if they're going to charge for 1 year olds - small baby fight pit. Shoe and coat cubes were located in the hallway of the only entrance - this meant there were always people trying to put their shoes on in the entrance most of us had come in. Not a huge deal as they had fire exits elsewhere, but tripping hazard as kids like to put their shoes on where their shoes were. Perhaps move it around the corner. No big. Multi-hop bouncy mushroom blowup - they had two people working to help the kids hop across the three things (mushrooms?) - good. The guy who was helping at first hop would not touch the little girls in any fashion whatsoever - my assumption an attempt to protect himself from a molestation accusation by any parents. What this meant was little girls were not getting help on the first hop, boys were. If girls made it to the second hop there was a woman helping them to the third and on. This sort of sucked for my 3yo girl who could not get any help on that first jump. Really not sure what the solution is going to be here except if they're worried about a male assistant being accused of touching a kid while helping them up, perhaps just invest a couple hundred bucks in an IP cam so they can show there was no intent. After the balloon drop we were informed there was a party coming up and that the place was closing down for it but that people could come back later if they wanted. Having had enough bouncing at this point this was not an issue for us, however had I showed up closer to noon I think this might have been. I saw no signage that the place was closing at one. May have been my bad. Solution is a big ol' sign. Overall it's been an OK time - not charging for one year olds and making sure whatever your child's sex they get help on a hop challenge would go a long way.
