With the help of TC and Brain Weaver I've learned the first part and am doing it four times a week. My biggest concern was my knees. On previous attempts to learn, my knees would get so sore that I would stop. Here I got the care and proper instructions to take care of my knees while I learned the moves of this poetic martial art. Most places I've found were overpriced and underwhelming. This spot is the first spot I've found that has truly authentic Chinese food that I grew up with at fair prices. Not only do they have your normal dumplings and buns, they have some of my favorite childhood dishes that were harder to find as well. We ordered the braised pork, wintermelon spareribs pot, kung pao chicken, pork and shepards purse bun, pork and cabbage dumplings, sautéed potato & green pepper & eggplant, and fried udon noodle with beef, and wok fried spicy pot cauliflower and let me tell you there was not a SINGLE bad dish! Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. My favorites were the eggplant and the wintermelon spareribs pot. I can understand some of the comments on the service, sometimes a reminder was needed, but the food makes up for it twofold and the waitresses were overall very kind and friendly. The restaurant itself is cozy, but spacious and not too hectic which made is a perfect space to catch up with friends. Highly recommend! Will definitely be my new go to spot for Chinese food.

A great healing experience with Master Kim!!! After a…read moredelicious Korean lunch with friends, by chance, I found myself walking by the Brain & Body studio. It had all the right worlds on the window glass, so I stuck my head in. Master Kim greeted me nicely and warmly, answering a few questions, and I walked out with a brochure. When I got to my car to leave I stopped. I've had a bronchial cough for over a month, I haven't felt 100%, and was at my wits end. I believe in all the modalities of healing listed in the brochure, though I am skeptical. I know there are practitioners and there are healers. Feeling that this was a G_d bump, I went back upstairs opened the door to a surprised Kim that I had returned so soon. We went over how I was feeling and, because of the grace that Kim extended, warily I decided to do an individual session, hesitating a little at the price. But with G_d bumps I choose to say yes. Without a doubt, a wonderful healing experience! I walked out the door an hour later feeling a burden had been lifted from my entire body. I don't know how other locations are but, I do know that because Master Kim is there, I am going to drive all the way from Pasadena to KoreaTown to take classes with him several days in the upcoming weeks.
