Tried this new spot after my son's haircut nearby and decided to sample their ramen. Despite my 4yr old being picky, he loved it! The tonkotsu broth lived up to its 7-hour preparation claim, rich and creamy. The thin chashu pork slices were tasty (I prefer them a bit thicker), and the perfectly cooked shoyu tamago stood out. While the noodles could be more al dente, the generous portion made up for it. The milk tea was delicious. I'll definitely return to explore their unagi rice bowl. This spot is a great addition to the west side, offering a variety of Japanese cuisine. Also wanted to note that the interior decor and ambiance is spot on

Wichita boba has not been disappointing.... We moved here recently from Hawaii, and you would think that Hawaii's got bomb boba all over, and while they do have some good places, they also got lots of places that miss the mark. Tried this place for the first time a few days ago and came back again today for more! We've only tried their boba so far & it's a great price point, and great taste. We love blended boba drinks so we go for their smoothies, which you can mix 2 flavors, and comes with tapioca pearls already. Also got some gyoza and will come back to try their ramen and poke burrito!

congratulations to #newmarketsquare on their continued development! really glad that northwest wichita continues to develop. they have the new #popeyes and #taichibubbletea! because of the freezing temperatures, i decided to try their ramen and their thai tea. i ordered the spicy miso with chicken! it wasn't spicy enough so i recommend asking for more chili so you can get that flavor. honestly the broth was kinda bland. there was no spice flavor from the spicy miso and the chicken felt frozen and then warmed up. if you're looking for ramen i recommend yokohama. my spouse ordered their poke with crab , salmon, and fish eggs on top! he said it's probably one of his fave #poké bowls. my brother in law got a rice bow that he really enjoyed! our takeaways are: good drinks, good rice and poke bowl, but don't come here for the ramen. this place is very cute. it's one of those place made for #instagram! spacious, amazing lighting, and good food. cannot wait to try their sushi burritos next!

The ambience of the restaurant is really pleasing. We enjoyed the brightness and colorful atmosphere. The teas are amazing but 10/10 for the ramen. The staff were very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved the food. It was high quality and the service was so quick. We got a poke bowl and really liked how well made it was. They had some other items I hope to get next time. The seating area was clean and everyone was so friendly. We even met the owner, she was very kind. Definitely coming back!

The bubble tea matcha tasted like soap and was brown in color. It made my stomach upset and was not appetizing

We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

A lot larger than I expected--could definitely accommodate larger parties. Very slow for a Sat afternoon.

After spending the day…read moreexploring Tanganyika Wildlife Park, we wanted a relaxing dinner within walking distance of our hotel, and this locally owned restaurant was exactly what we were hoping to find. The first surprise was the size of the restaurant. From the street, it looks fairly modest, but once inside, it opens into a beautiful historic warehouse with exposed brick, an industrial feel, and a lively atmosphere. I also loved discovering the large outdoor patio tucked away behind the building--it would be a fantastic place to enjoy live music on a future visit. We ordered the baby back ribs, which had just been introduced to the menu that evening, and they were incredible. The meat was tender enough to fall right off the bone, the baked beans had just the right amount of spice, and the fries rounded out a great comfort meal. I also enjoyed trying a local cider on tap, and we couldn't resist finishing with the Key Lime Pie Crème Brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. What really stood out was how relaxed the experience felt. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of adventure. If you're visiting Wichita, especially if you're staying in Historic Old Town, I highly recommend adding Public at the Brickyard to your itinerary. Great food, genuine hospitality, and a wonderful example of supporting local Kansas producers make this a restaurant I'll gladly return to on my next visit.
