From our experiences, Tahoe Getaways is legit a GREAT way to ensure you have a good experience renting in Tahoe. We've rented vacation homes many times, and our experiences with TG-managed properties has always been WAY better than when we rented without them. They really do ensure a great guest experience - from the excellent communication to all the little touches they put in place - it all makes a difference. read more

Great space!! Everything we needed was there. I was happy that all the beds were queen or king.

Had a wonderful week with the family. The home was really perfect. Very accommodating , Clean, spacious , with all the amenities needed. Loved the jacuzzi spa on the deck among the lush pines. Super quiet neighborhood with min traffic allowing bike riding. read more

Our experience with Tahoe Getaways was disappointing from start to finish. We paid a premium price expecting a premium vacation rental, but the property was not prepared for guests. The home had visible mold in the downstairs bathroom, a broken shower door, broken screen doors, a pocket door that wouldn't close, dirty floors, and it was missing basic household supplies that we ended up buying ourselves. The biggest concern was an active mouse trap left in an area accessible to our four-year-old daughter. We contacted Tahoe Getaways immediately and received polite responses, but the proposed solution was to send maintenance and cleaners during our vacation. We chose not to spend our limited family time with people working inside the rental. These are issues that should have been addressed before check-in, especially after we were told the home had passed its final inspection. We own rental properties ourselves, so we understand that things occasionally go wrong. What matters is ensuring a property is clean, safe, and ready before guests arrive. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay. I hope management uses this feedback to improve its inspection process so future guests have a better experience than we did. read more

Tahoe dreamer was an exceptional place with its location to the lake with coffee shop, nice fenced in yard, plenty of space for all 10 of us and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We will come back. read more

Tahoe Getaways made all the difference with our rental. We found several issues upon occupancy, which is not abnormal, and Tahoe Getaways team took care of each item BEFORE I hung up the phone. They are so on top of things that I would not lease directly from an owner if Tahoe Getaways wasn't the manager. From the leasing process to vacating the premises and returning ALL of my expected Deposit back. So first rate. read more

A getaway with my husband was great at Sandy Cove in Tahoe Vista. We road bike paths from Incline Village to Sand Harbor, swam in the lake daily, and even enjoyed rain one day (relief from fire risk). Our little cabin was next to the lake--not immediately but literally a few steps away and viewable from our porch. The space was updated and very clean and comfortable. Nice for relaxing indoors or on the private beach. Food and fun restaurants were either walkable or a short drive. Tahoe Getaways staff are helpful and responsive. read more

Tahoe Getaways - Drink frig and large living area! - Vacation Rentals Near Me - Truckee, California

We have used Tahoe Getaways for numerous stays on Tahoe's North Shore. Every one of their properties has been as advertised, each home was in great condition, and the amenities were excellent. (In olden times, we stayed in some rentals from other companies that were...to be very kind..almost falling apart) But Tahoe Getaways properties have been outstanding, and their service/ response is stellar. We already have booked one vacation with them for next year, and we're working on a second. HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

My family and friends love spending our annual get togethers in Truckee. This was our first time booking with Tahoe Getaways and I was impressed with the whole experience. This cabin is amazing in every way! Location was just outside of Tahoe City and near the Tahoe Bakery (yum!). Communication for check in and all was great. The floor plan of this house is superb, open concept so family can sit on the deck, be in the jacuzzi, be cooking dinner, yet all still be together. The landscaping of this house is gorgeous!! We enjoyed our getaway so much! It was such a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Each morning we woke up, had our coffee and walked in the neighborhood. We stayed 5 nights at a property in Old Greenwood at the star of summer. It was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, was clean, and easy to get to the pool by bike or car for our family of 4. We had an issue come up the first night of our stay (whole house fire alarm went off at 4AM). Marissa was extremely proactive about sending out a tech the following day, and accommodating by proactively giving us a late checkout for our troubles. We were at the pool every day and loved being able to take the kids out on the golf course after our round and after 5PM. Great experience and recommend Tahoe Getaways! read more

We booked the snowbird cabin in NorthStar for my birthday weekend. let me start off my saying, it was a great experience. I was surprised to find this cabin available due to January is a hot week in Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Getaway and their members were all great, and took their time to respond back to me within minutes. Great team to book with!! The Cabin. 1.very clean inside. Freshly remodeled. 2. All the rooms had fresh bedding and soft pillows. (Every time I travel I bring my own pillow since some places have either too stiff or too soft pillows) But this cabin had two sets of pillows on each bed!! 3. Bathrooms had a big bottle of hand soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner. And apart from that. The tile floors were HEATED !! 4. Setting. The cabin was very cozy and a free shuttle ride to the NorthStar village that's 5min away, with many food options. The ice rink, snow live music. It was an amazing time. Thank you Tahoe getaway for everything. And I would recommend this company to anyone if you're looking to book a place in the Lake Tahoe area. read more

Tahoe Getaways - On the second floor looking over the living room and the outdoors. - Vacation Rentals Near Me - Truckee, California

No idea how this company is with their rentals but they have no respect for the community with regard to speeding vehicles. Last time I saw one of their vehicles doing 50 in a 25 zone I contacted the company directly and not a public post. But obviously that made no difference. Today one of their vans screaming up our street which had a 25 mph limit. I tried to wave the car down (no obscene gestures) but they just kept flying up our street. Not acceptable. read more

Beautiful, clean home that was perfect for our weekend Tahoe trip! You really can't beat this location! We could walk to the ski resort, which made it really easy with little ones who needed mid day naps before getting back on the slopes.
