One was cancelled 10 minutes prior to my appointment, as I was parking at the Salon. At another appointment the stylist showed up 20 minutes late. They have a strict 24 cancellation policy in which you may be charged up to 100% of the cost of your service if you cancel, yet they do not have reciprocal respect for their clients' time. If you have a VERY flexible schedule, the actual service is good, but do not count on them to honor your appointment times.

No blending, no thining of bulk areas, just straight line cuts. I have longer hair for a man and she actually said to me as I sat down in the chair, do you mind if I used a straight razor to cut your hair. That should have been my clue to run. And I'm like no, I don't want a buzz cut. Just trim it up. Then her first cut with sissors was 2" straight cut on the top of my head, What in the world. And it just got worse from there. My teen has been doing vivid colors for 3+ years now and Ren has done a great job with color AND care of my teen's hair. I see Kim who is fantastic with color, blonde, and modern cuts. I've been growing out my gray (or silver as she calls it) and she's helped me do it in a way I love. Kim has done my hair platinum, blonde, caramel, ash, brown, black, peek-a-boo vivid, block vivid, and more. It's never over processed and stays very healthy. I've seen Alicia do excellent hair cuts on teenage boys to men well past just salt and pepper. She's always friendly and kind to everyone in her chair. Before I went to Neve, I had damaged my hair over the past three years with several home bleach attempts, and awful DIY cuts. I felt so ashamed of my hair that I didn't want to go to a salon in Santa Cruz, my hometown, but I finally decided to give Neve a try during our annual family trip to Tahoe. Kim treated me with total compassion, and she took the time to discuss my future hair goals so that I felt empowered to take better care of my hair. I love having long hair, but my ends were so damaged that I wanted to start fresh and Kim cut them off, fixing my jagged layers into a short cut I'm happy with until it grows back to my regular shoulder length! I'm thrilled I found this salon, and I'm beyond grateful the prices are affordable, too!
