After filling out the application I decided to use a tag and title business to handle the legwork. I'm an old man who has been in the automotive industry all my life and I've never used one of these businesses before. After calling around to 3 other places I was getting discouraged because of the 2 to 3 week wait I was told it would take, the ridiculously high fees I was quoted, and the lack of knowledgeable people I spoke with. My 4th call was to Laurel Tag and Title where Tina took the time to explain the process to me clearly. She texted me the address and directions to her office and emailed the documents she needed my wife to complete. Tina even took time on the phone to talk us through our lack of tech-savvy with E-Documents. I dropped off all the paperwork to her that afternoon and the next day, less than 24 hours later, she called and said the placards were in. Absolutely amazing! Maryland has changed the process in the last three years but typically with the changes I always double check with Maryland to confirm. With that being said I was overcharged for two sets of fingerprints when in fact I only needed one set of fingerprints. With the cost of the entire process I was not prepared to pay an additional 68 dollars, the representative was informed it was for a renewal and had me sign and annotate that it was for a renewal and still charged me the additional fee. That aside everything else was streamlined and executed with efficiency .

She told me to come in as the price is generated and could not give me pricing on the phone. Normally I would just by past and no go to a place that tells me that but I went because of her manners and patience. Went in less than 10 minutes I was out the door. She explained to me everything , had a great spirit and the whole place was warming , smelled good while a candle was lit "warm vanilla" (yes I'm observant ). The place was clean. The table that when you come in the door to your right was clean (no fingerprints on the glass ) and even the baseboards was clean. This was my first time in a Tag & Title place and people always tells me story on how they are ghetto and hood but no it definitely was not.
