Looking to build a new home? Soper Homes is your answer. After the kids had left the nest, my…read morewife and I had been looking forward to building a home in Bakersfield after our retirement. She even put our name on a lot in a very popular area here in the southwest of Bakersfield. It was perfect for us, with recreational amenities and areas to walk and play with access to local stores and healthcare facilities. One day I noticed some new construction on the far west side of Rosedale. I didn't have time to investigate, but I told her she should check it out. What followed next was life changing. One day she called me up and excitedly said, "Oh my goodness, you gotta see this!" Thirty minutes later I walked into the new model at Soper Homes Construction, and I could see the giddy look on my wife's face. Her smile was radiant. Both of us knew instantly it would be our new home. Under further investigation we realized this home was superior to anything we'd seen before. Standard items in this Soper home were options on other homes we'd investigated. The attention to detail in the construction quality, design, painting and stucco were unmatched. Large spacious rooms accommodated both our interests and hobbies. It was perfect. What really sealed the deal was the local family that built it. Led by Mike Soper we soon learned how genuine, humble, and professional this family was in building our dream home. Mike, Lisa, John, and Jeff have been so kind and humble throughout the entire process. Even Mike's wife designed and decorated the interior of this stunning model home! This was indeed a family affair. Any concerns we have had were immediately addressed. This wasn't the cold, distant hand of a large corporate construction company. Soper Homes has bent over backwards providing options and alternatives we would have never seen in other homes. My wife and I practically lived in the model home, and we've always felt welcomed by Lisa and the Soper family. In addition, their work relationship with subcontractors such as Scott Pavletich have made the operation seamless. In short, if you are in the market for building a new home, we can't say enough about Soper Homes. Glen and Margo Ogden

I've dealt with people who started projects but never came back to finish them, didn't stand behind their work, or promised to show up and never did. They are honest, hardworking, respectful, and always arrived on time. What stood out the most was that Moises guarantees his work and communicates every step of the way. If the crew wasn't going to be there, he never hesitated to let us know why. Like any remodeling project, we experienced a few setbacks, including waiting for materials to arrive, painting and trim work, building custom floating shelves, and working around our older retro windows. Through it all, Moises stayed committed to getting everything done right. There were even times when my spouse and I couldn't agree on certain design decisions. Moises and his crew took the time to listen, offer solutions, and help us find options that worked for both of us. If Moises said he was going to do something, he did it. That kind of honesty, reliability, and follow-through is hard to find these days. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend Moises and his crew to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship, excellent communication, and someone who truly stands behind their work. We are calling him again to fix a leak.
