The carrier subsequently left the market and I no longer needed the coverage. In the rush of the busy work season, I failed to notify Hatch insurance to terminate the policy at the end of the year. The policy was naturally going to cancel the end of February due to non-payment (which I was fine with as I no longer needed it). Amanda at Hatch Insurance reached out to see if I was aware the policy was scheduled to terminate. I explained that I was aware and why I no longer needed it. No other correspondence was needed I figured, however, Amanda, WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND and sent me a retro termination form (she pre-filled) to sign and send back to her (it's rare for a termination to be retro canceled).
