Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Lastly, the school actively works to keep the tuition very reasonable as most schools of this nature charge you 2 to 3 times more than PDC. I highly recommend this little known diamond in the rough that was founded by two innovative and caring educators who created an affordable and out of the box school for neuro-divergent children. We love this place!

My first week in Algebra I, my grade was a 33 (F). She explained the math to me in terms that made me able to grasp an understanding of it. Something I once feared and did not like, I am no longer afraid of. Dr. Taylor and Elevation Station EDU made math fun and enjoyable!! Thank you Elevation Station!!! Thank you Dr. Taylor!! Today I had to take a test that could have a major impact on the rest of my career. I don't know…read morewhat you do, but my career requires that I pass different certification tests to be eligible for a promotion. The test I had to take today was a 5 hour computer based test and it cost me $120 to take the test. I arrived on a Saturday at 1pm. I only knew to park in the back and go through the back door because of the other cars in the lot. If I had been first on site, I would have had a heck of time figuring out where to go. The building isn't new, but the office for the TX Testing Center is old old. Located on the 4th floor of the Bank of Fort Bend building, hidden in the corner, is an old office space. The chairs in the waiting area are like sitting hammocks. They look like they've been picked up at a flea market. This place is a one woman show. About 15 people showed up at 1pm for the afternoon testing session and one woman had to check everyone in, take their photo (required for the state certification), and set them up on their computer. Each person was taking a different test, so that takes some time and personalization on the computer. Not only that, the test I was taking required some supplemental paper information that she had to go find. She knew where it was, but she was a little overwhelmed with all she had to do. There really needs to be two people here during the check in process. Once I was put at a computer, I had a seat and got comfortable for my up to 5 hour test. The chair was not especially comfy. The computers themselves are pretty new and work just fine, no problems there. Recently, there have been major earthquakes and the vibrating floor and tables at one point made me very nervous. I seriously had to stop testing and wait for the tables and floor to stop moving. I don't know if there was a herd of elephants in the building or what, but you can read a computer screen when it is bouncing around. When testing, I like complete silence and unfortunately, with 8 people in my single testing room, I had to listen to one lady hum periodically and another guy who need a box of tissues but didn't bother to bring any with him. It was quite annoying listening to all these people make noise. It took me about 3 hours to finish my test. About 2 hours into the test, the one-woman-show walked around and gave everyone a wrapped candy. Really? Yeah it's not disturbing at all to listen to everyone unwrap and then suck on their candy. When I finally went to leave, I had to turn in my supplemental materials and check out. The one-woman-show was no where to be found. I waited and waited, and then I went in the hallway to look for her. I eventually heard her, on her cell phone, down the hall. I had to call out to her (yes, interrupting other testers) to get her attention. Overall, I would not take another certification test here even though it is convenient to my home. I want somewhere quiet and comfortable. If you are looking at this review, then you are probably taking the same type of test I was. Go to another location, there are many different businesses that do this type of testing in the Houston/Sugar Land area.

The building isn't new but it for sure isn't "old". The building can be slightly difficult to navigate through but overall this place is a great place to take your tests.

We arrived here on a Saturday in Mid-March on a sunny day where the track was filled with vehicles and nothing but sounds of engines and tires screeching. If you're a racing guy or someone who loves cars, then this was paradise. As you pull in here, there's a garage with a bleachers area that oversees the track. The track has some sharp turns making it a fun yet nervewracking experience if you're not familiar with the track. By my second and third laps in the car, I got the hang of it and decided to let it rip. Boy oh boy, I get why people are obsessed with vehicles and engines since the feeling from the acceleration is pure ecstasy from a thrill perspective. Depending what events are here, I encourage people to try this at least once for the experience. It's not cheap so be prepared to spend some cash for the need for speed!
